How come the speakerphone doesn't automatically turn on when I flip the phone over?

Is there a solution to disable the weather animation and to disable the HTC messaging?

These things make the rom so laggy!

i installed tsowen taskbar6 for wm 6.5 and for some reason the network icon changes to an activesync icon after a data connection is established. only a soft reset fixes it. not sure why it's doing t his, but it has to be specific to juicy rom cause it worked fine on energyrom. anybody use this taskbar and know how to fix it? http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...65&postcount=2

I hated those icons and couldnt remove them for the life of me but knew that there should be a way to remove them cause I didnt see them in EnergyROM before since I tried his ROM before Juicy's R2. So I just dug a while throught the registries and started changing things thinking worst case scenario I just Hard Reset if I messed up my Registry, which by the way I would backup to make sure I could change it back. So, made an educated guess and by luck found the RegKey that worked on my first or second try. So there you have it. I changed that back since R2.

so...

i just installed a few cabs:

- more call options
- reset
- softkeymanager
- bignadad sense removercarrier
- zmark sms messages as read fix

one of the above apps just stopped my ability to finger scroll through the body of an email. now, when i try to scroll, it just highlights the text (as if i turned on the"make selection" option).

fyi - when i tap and hold the screen, i now no longer get the "make selection" option.

(i can still "flick finger" scroll up and down my inbox, and file explorer)

any idea what caused this - and more importantly - how to reactivate "finger-flick" scrolling within the BODY of my emails?

If anyone wants to try out the Xperia X2 taskmanager here it is. It works perfect with this rom. Just install and soft reset. I kind of like it better than the htc task manager.

You need to recalibrate your G-Sensor by putting it on a flat surface. That should take care of your speaker phone. Also ensure that registry setting "HKLM/Software/HTC/PHONE/PhoneExtendSetting/EnableSpkWithFaceDown is set to 1.

Regarding disabling weather animations there are two alternatives

1) Set a custom wallpaper on today screen
2) Setting the registry key
HKCU/Software/HTC/manila/Home.WallpaperMode from dword 0 to dword:1. This works only for Sense UI 2.5

Hey Juicy, when are you dropping R6? Im on R3 and i see no significant differences in R4 or 5 to update? Why not cook in mms fixes and stabilize manila for text as i have frequent freeze ups.

Sprint User:

This is by far the most stable rom yet. I am able to customize it with
Max Manila 2.51920xxx Ultimate - v2.2.cab and works great. Good functionality and as a power user only reach approx 75% memory usage in a days use. There are two things I wish worked that currently do not.

1. Sprint TV
a. Loads to the start screen then freezes
2. MMS
a. I've tried the Arcsoft_MMS_Sprint_5_0_94_128c.cab and the registry mods with
no luck
Any ideas on how I can get these to work?

On R3 i followed these directions and got all those things you listed to work.
