Worked great, thanks! Any idea on what to do to get quickGPS (and GPS in general for that matter) working?

Considering I have been reading this thread pretty current......I have not seen any1 else post this.......you can easily go back to stock...

How did you disable autolock?

So with everyone using this ROM do we all forsee these 2.5 ROMS becoming more stable and usable? Or is the TP2 just not cut out for all this eye candy?

I'd like to keep upgrading Juicy's 2.5's but I'm wondering at the same time if it's more like hardware limitations of the TP2 causing all this annoying lag in manila.

What do the rest of you think? Think it will be a few months before 2.5 will be as smooth as good ol' 2.1? Or is that being overly optimistic??

Oh and one more thing..

Anyone know if the beautiful animated homescreens are something that can be cooked into the 2.1 manila or is it stuck being 2.5 exclusive? I think that seems to be one of the reasons I'm hesitant on going back to 2.1 lol.

I use mighty's rom and it has the animated homescreen. I'm assuming you mean the weather animations covering the whole screen, right?

Both work perfect for me. Just went outside to check for you and I got 6 satellites in Google Maps while in downtown Boston within 10 seconds. QuickGPS has auto updated yesterday and manually just now.

One thought for all of you, I noticed that by default this ROM has global mode enabled. I instead set it to CDMA mode only for now. I can switch it when I go international. It may or may not have an effect on ROM issues you may be experiencing.

Juicy this ROM is running GREAT, save MMS and landscape, which I'm 99% fine with. Keep it up, and thanks!

Edit: Juicy I was writing this as you posted, thanks again!!
