If it makes it faster, by all means do it. I as well prefer more quick launch icons but can definitely live without if needed. One thing I will note, and purely optional, I just agree with a few of the posters about putting folders in the Start Menu to organize things a little. I always end up doing it regardless, so it is no big deal if that is the way you prefer to run your rom yourself. That is really what matters. We can adjust to our own tastes after the fact.

Looking forward to it.

I think they are still experiencing the volume issue, and think someone noted it continually re-buffering. I don't honestly use it that much, but every time I have tested it, it works here. But seems to be a lot that are having issues.

Can't wait for R4!! Any idea if TellMe will work with it? I am running it now and it seems to work fine but when i send a voice text it sends it out but somehow it gets stuck in my regular text application. I then have to open that up in order to send it... Voice recognition is pretty accurate though! Either way R4 is going to be a winner!

working hard on R4, as a heads up i think it will CFC compressed which may cause headaches for those wanting to run Max Manila or weirdo Manila themes.... the good news is, is that it will run manila much faster and take up less space for the rest of the people that want a stock look.

thoughts?

i think CFC Compressed is the way to go, it saves spaces and it speeds things up, what more could you want. The mod-makers should do this as well and will need to update their versions to folllow the trendsetters and make things compatible so i definately support what you're thinking.

i haven't been following this thread too closely since i still had my tp last week but noticed a few minor bugs, i dunno if they've been mentioned but this is one that i can remember off the top of my head, when u'r in device info (about phone) and u click on about, it takes u to the old battery control panel, do u plan to fix that link? and also update the battery panel to match the rest of the manila 2.5 system? the one that ones looks old school like wm6.1 days, very minor though

also i noticed a few more people think this roms needs a bit more organized start menu after i suggested it the other day, if this is something you're considering and might like to try out, send me a pm and i could help u out or show u (but i'm sure u know how to do that simple things, its just time consuming or maybe its just at the bottom of ur list of things to do or dont have time) or i could do it for you while u work on other things, i learned from one of the best :)

i'll probably keep flashing around different roms today like i did yesterday but i know i will be flashing back to juicy before i goto bed, i haven't found one yet that has the speed and stabillity and features of this rom, although mr.x and MM are pretty close up there in speed they dont have manila 2.5 :D

youtube misses more than it hits. When the sound acts up, it rebuffers so much that playback isnt possible. And the only way to fix this is to exit youtube...i've found out that this happens when i play 2 or more videos.

Something else ive noticed: If i add friends to the favorite list, and select the view contact card instead of a number, the contact card picture goes missing (not the contacts picture) in the bottom right corner. I dont know if this is facebook related because my contacts in my favorite are synced with facebook.

im in the process of saving all info. such as reg. edit, files an what ever i can think of so it makes my life easy everytime i flash/hard reset (well the most important reason is so my chick wont be mad @ me 4 taking so long setting up my phone)

so my question is what file is the bookmarks for opera10? i know opera9.7 file for the bookmarks is opera6, correct? (which can be found in windows folder) but for opera10 it doesnt have 'opera6' (opera10 files should be in programs/opera10) i found the 'wand' for the passwords but now all i need is for bookmarks.
thanks 4 any help

oh, also, is it possible to have a file (in xda_uc) to create shortcuts? an how could i do that? thanks agian
