I am doing all that. The problem is the file isn't a rar. I am assuming it should be? I am off to download winrar and see if that makes a difference. Thanks

Hello all!

MMS is not working for me. I installed Arcsoft 5 0 94 and did the modifications but still not working with r3. I love this ROM and wondering if anyone can help. I am using Sprint. I went into registry but when I selected my server there was no 4 wap settings to modify. Only a empty folder.

Open the registry and double check:

Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\MMSCSetting\SampleMMSC2]
"MmscURI"="http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms"

And someone else pointed out they had to update this, mine did it automatically:

Code:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ArcSoft\ArcSoft MMS UA\Config\mm1\WspHeader2]
"X-MDN"="XXXXXXXXXXX"

Replace the X's with your 1+phone number.

Has ANYBODY actually gotten R3 to send/receive MMS on Verizon??

I just spent two hours trying to get it to work with no luck (& I'm not new to this stuff)

I set all the server settings, made one regedit, basically followed to a T everything in these posts & it flat out doesn't work.

When I try to send a pic from the default WM messaging, it LOOKS like it's sending & the mail icon shows it going out in the taskbar but it never actually sends it and gives an error after 3-4 tries.

I finally gave up & am currently flashing back to MM where I KNOW everything works perfectly, but I will try this again if someone figures out the MMS thing 100%.

You have to go into settings, regional settings and change from English (Canada) to English (United States)

Sorry John, but this won't work for you (I dont think...cause I'm on Sprint)...but I was about to post it anyway...and there is a post to set up the Sprint to work through the registry tweeks and added cab etc. I DID NONEOF THESE TWEAKS

I can't get MMS to work through the Manilla tab (although SMS works fine)...but if I take a picture, and send it via sms/mms...it goes through fine. The problem is it goes though the "email" sms/mms MS server (not manilla), but it works...the same is true for pictures stored on my device; using the same method...the main issue is...I don;t get a notification?? even though it appears to be set up (still working that part)...my point of thei post is...It works out of the box for me this way, without any other mods...Just Juicy R3

I don't know if I have missed any calls yet, but after a soft reset my ring is back to ring only instead of vibrate and ring...idk what is causing it...

I am not on Verizon so I don't know but you might check the same settings I pointed the other Sprint user to on that SampleMMCS2, all performed the same way for me till I changed that provider, instead of the first one. Just set it up for verizon's stuff. Hope it helps.
