since mike is stopping full force updates, what roms do you guys recommend for updated sense with wino 6.5.x? im having trouble getting used to others, i might just stick with ff for the long haul /: thought i might ask though

The provisioning tool installs the cab associated with your carrier. Inside that cab, it has all the settings for MMS. What is missing is the Arcsoft MMS Software, which Mike doesn't cook into the ROM, something about Telus being ghay and not supporting MMS. :-P

i have a friend on sprint who flashed the latest mr and shes unable to send/receive picture messages i sent her the latest imnuts arcosoft cabs and she installed and still no luck for her are there any other working cabs for mms out there?

1) make sure you sent the correct cabs to her.

2) just in case, have her uninstall the arcsoft, soft reset, re-provision her device with the "Provision Device", soft reset, and then install the correct arcosft.

should work.

I am kinda in the same boat as you, I have been browsing other 6.5.x Rom's out there, but just can't bring my self to use anything else. I LOVE the fact that the start button is still at the top and that it using HTC's task manager. those 2 things alone keep me from moving to another ROM.

Another stupid question:

Where is my newly installed (and swimmingly working- thanks) Arcsoft Threaded MMS app (function?) saving my received pictures?

I can't seem to find that info anywhere.

can you restate the question please?? what is it that your looking for on Arcsoft?

It stores them in the message till you save it...when you open an MMS...at the bottom it should say Contents on one of the softkeys...click that and the pictures will come up there then press and hold and save where you want...
