not with MM's roms...he is the cook that cooks in that stuff. his rom will 'magically' determine what carrier you are on and "poof" your stuff will be provisioned. <there is a provisioning "backup" in the rom so you can do it if it does not work....yeah right>

MM's roms are top notch and fool proof...I call them George Proof...cuz I can screw up a wet dream..but anyway, these work...as advertised, trust.....

Ok guys Im really new to this site and installing ANYTHING custom to a smartphone so PLEASE have patience and don't be annoyed by this question.

After installing MightyROM I heard it is recommended that I download and install carrier cabs.

Where can I get the necessary carrier cabs for Verizon? Any help and info would be so helpful!!

Can anyone tell me the difference between "Phone as Modem" and "Sprint" under the wifi router setting? I connected my laptop successfully to both. First as "phone as modem" , second time under "Sprint". Can Sprint tell whether I am tethering?
Thanks in advance.

Both will work, but use "Sprint." I don't exactly know the difference, but I asked the same question and the unanimous answer was Sprint.

Thanks for the quick reply Exit24.

Anyone experiencing SLOW internet on the Sprint network?
I ran speedtest.net and get like 500kbps at best. Any mods to increase that?
When I run a second time, I get this message about not enough memory...???
Sprint.com techs checked the towers around me and they're at 1100kbps...

Note: I was getting slow speeds before I loaded MM's ROM, so I'm sure that has nothing to do with it...

Any ideas on what's going on? Watching a youtube video is painful sometimes..rebuffers over and over....
