Nope that's not a FF issue, that's just the way 6.5.x works. Hitting the X doesn't really close things.
Er, I've used WinMob for years and when I've set X to close the app in Task Manager, it's always worked pretty reliably IME. Not in yours?

This app makes the X button close apps that use the X button.

Thank you- I'll give it a shot.

Essentially WM 6.5.x is a unfinished OS, its a beta version and has issues, the X button not closing was one of the things that was not finished.

Well since it is a little quiet in here, lets get a topic and run with it.. Here is something to keep an eye out for. Looks like a cool integration to Cookies Home tab; once they get all the bugs out.

That does look pretty cool, I posted that a little while back about that in the Themes & Software sub forum.

I keep forgetting that as I have always had a task manager installed to do that. Thanks

Keep in mind that a lot of these custom taskbars will change the animated wait cursor.

And maybe it's just me, but the programs that I always seem to have problems un-installing are custom taskbars.

I am currently testing a different ROM right now so I can't say whether these will work OK on Mighty's ROMS but they should.

I installed the 6.5.3 on the ROM I am currently using and it works fine but it did change the wait cursor.

How do you find the /windows folder in WMDC on a machine running Win 7 Ultimate. Can't find it in Windows Explorer and nothing comes up in search. Just trying to add some notification sounds.

It's a system folder and hidden by Windows 7. Open MY COMPUTER and go to ORGANIZE (on the left). Click FOLDER AND SEARCH OPTIONS. Click the VIEW tab and select SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS.

That will bring it up so you can find it. Be prepared to wait for the window to open. 7 seems to take a long time to show the Windows directory due to the number of files in there.

I've been pissed at how slow the camera takes pictures, so I did a bit of searching and came up with this:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\Camera\Captparam

Key: CapKeyDelayTime: Originally 1500, change to 500
Key: CaptureTimer: Originally 5000, change to 100

However, this still wasn't fast enough, my kids run too fast, so I changed both values to 50 and it works great...clear pictures and almost instantanious
