+1 on this, if your going to sell it you are way better off flashing it to stock, that way if they do have to call into tech or something like that they should be able to get support.

I am selling my TP2 and downgrading to a diamond until the EVO 4g comes out. I was wondering if it is legal to sell my TP2 on ebay with MightyRom on it. Or should I just flash it back to stock?

Thanks

Unless you need the cash to buy the EVO, why not just wait 2 more weeks, buy your EVO and then sell your TP2?

Todd please edit posts so that we don't have a bunch of one liners...

As for my opinion on the matter of selling a Touch Pro 2 on ebay...

Go for it...just make sure that you detail that it has the best Custom ROM available...most people who will buy an unlocked phone with a custom ROM know what they are getting into so I would definitely do it...and don't forget maybe a little donation to Mike for his great work would be a plus...

Just wanted to chime in to say that after three weeks, the new OF is still as amazing as day 1!

Battery life is unbelievable, free mem is within normal levels for my overloaded install, and it's still very stable and snappy!

rock solid ROM, thanks Mike!

Another issue with this ROM that I'm wondering if anybody else has experienced.

I've had the phone lock up several times now after opening a picture message. I open the pic that is sent, and the phone freezes once the pic is up having to soft reset the phone.

Anybody else had this happen? If so, is there a fix?

Thanks!

Aaron

Works fine here, but then again, I'm with Sprint. It might be the version of Arcsoft that you installed. Check with a different arcsoft version.

Well I am reporting back. The 5/01 rom does seem to run a little smoother most of the time.(using older 1.88.07wv radio) its at least up to speed with the 2.1 rom I wanted before.
This rom ran SLOW before and i dont know if you can contribute it to the newer radio or not but on a rainy day the wiper would tick across the screen at a frame rate of one per second, literally it was bad. and it would be extremely slow if I was using the virtual keyboard where the letters wouldnt show up for a second or so.
It is running better now.

The only problem I am having now is that I cant disable the landscape mode. I NEED to be able to disable that.

It is probably just my phone but no matter what rom I have.( it did it the first day I had it with the shipped rom) whenever it switches from landscape to portrait or vice versa. it doesn't matter if it switches because I pull the keyboard out or it switches by the sensor. it is really slow for about 2 minutes. example if i pull the keyboard out to type up an email. i can get a good 5-7 words typed before something shows up on the screen. if i open the keyboard and let it sit for a minute before i start typing the letters show up as soon as i press them. same thing applies with the virtual keyboard after a switch

arn24- I do not have any problems opening mms, emails, or texts. That has never been an issue for me and im using imnuts threaded verizon arcsoft mms 5.2.12.62

bump...need some help with this SMS issue. I just reflashed FF, did Task 29 data wipe prior to reflash. Tried sending an SMS after i resynced with WMDC and boom, same problem. Phone dies, I hit the power button it comes back on and soft resets, SMS doesn't send. argggggggggggggggggg....is this a hardware issue or is there a file that WMDC is syncing that's corrupting SMS.

And on another note, after I reflashed the ROM, I try to install the Mighty ROM Sprint cab to provision my phone but it says it's already installed? Does it install automatically now without me doing anything?

Have you installed the Arcsoft cab? have you tried to flash back to stock and see if its still causing the same problem?

No, I've never installed the Arcsoft cab. No haven't tried flashing back to stock ROM.

I would highly recommend flashing back to stock to see if the same thing happens.
