You have to flash the new ROM to get the updates...trust me man I wouldn't waste my ttime thinking and just go for it...the new updates are for ALL the ROMs OF | SE | FF the only thing different is

OF - Official build + updated tweaks
SE - Official build + Purians BlueSatin Theme + DarkNinjaDesire Taskbar + updated tweaks
FF - 6.5.x ROM based off Official build + updated tweaks

For noobs it might be disabled...

Or you could click the more specific Search This Thread next to the ratings...or do as I do...got this link from Tink(yvettejudd)...

The threaded imnuts cab is not working for me. I got to menu>new>pic message and nothing happens. If i got to a pic, then click mail, nothing happens. Its just a straight cab install correct?
