Use 480x800 pictures and it wont be black on part of the screen. :)
It will however crop the portrait wallpaper to make the landscape one, but will fill the screen if you use the right size wallpaper.
Otherwise try my 16 or 20 links with HQB4all, with separate modes for portrait and landscape wallpaper.

Yeah, connections over there suck, unless you have your own Heavy to use, that's what I had last time over. You want even slower try Haji net on Sykes in the IZ or Haji net on Bagram around 2100-0100 after all the kids get off work.

Thanks for the confirmation guys. Ok, so I just installed the ROM.

At what point does UC kick in to start installing everything?

After flashing the ROM, I let it start up all the way then I did a clear storge from the Settings -> System page. After that, I did a hard reset w/ the buttons (phone hook / unhook + power after hitting the soft reset button). I put my SD card in and let the thing run. When it was up, the provisioning page appeared. I selected Sprint then commit. Restarted when it asked me to and that was it. It restarted and it doesn't look like UC did anything.

You have to run XDA_UC from the tools menu. It doesn't auto start.

I don't know how the testers missed this one. Easy fix though.

What does this actually do? I'm looking on the phone page, at the top in the area that says Verizon Wireless, there is a phone, an unlock, and this target circle with a line through it. What does this do? TIA
