Is there anyway i can get an alternative mirror for the 062010 tp2 release? the only internet i have accessable at the moment is using a barracuda firewall and for what ever reason its blocking mightyrom.com

hotfile.com works (suprisingly...)

I'm on a military installation going through pre-deployment stuff (afghanistan...) and need to flash a different rom (i've grown tired of NRG's rom)

thank you.

I re-downloaded the 6/20 ROM for you just now, and then uploaded it to a hotfile link that I just sent to you in a PM.

Mike likes to track his downloads so please only use the hotfile link for your personal use and do not re-distribute it or re-post it elsewhere

Thank you very much!

I'm really happy with this rom too, I'll most likely never be going back to NRG, It was way to bloated and finicky.

Re: ░░░░ MightyROM.com ░░░░ Windows Phone® ░░░░

I'm running W7 as well so try the following after you get you phone and computer linked. On phone go to start/settings/bluetooth and you should see activesync listed under your computer name, click on AS and it should connect. This is what I do and I get sync everytime. Let me know what happens and if anything else I can hep with.

I also added activesync to my quiklinks so when I tap on it hit menu and it will give an option to connect via BT, choose that and it will take you to the same place.

Mightymike, i went ahead and made a 20 dollar donation, this rom really impressed me and it's blown all the other roms i've flashed in the past away.

Thank you very much for working so hard on this and taking time out of your busy schedule to support it.

Keep in mind that Mike is now using an Android device on an HSPA (not CDMA) network. The CDMA TP2 is, sadly, a dying breed. It should last a while for those who still use it. But you will never again see the level of tweaking and support that we once saw with it

:(

I guess. I'm not suggesting he rush it or owes us anything. I didn't mean to go there. :blackeye: I was just thinking it's been over a month since he said we'd see something in a week. Maybe he decided to just say forget it. I got better things to do. I wouldn't blame him.

I too was on Win7 with my TP2 and never had a BT sync issue. BT setup was much easier on Win7 over XP once you download the correct connection manager. Verify your partnership maybe del and rebuild them...it should work smoothly...I have less headaches with Win7 over XP with BT sync...

How does the bill increase?? I guess if you are on a SPECIAL plan you have to switch plans but for me I would stay the same

I'm on a F&F300 plan + data, not SERO. Nothing special about it except Sprint doesn't want me to have it anymore.

Ouch. You don't even get the SERO Premium love next month (only $20/mo extra to upgrade to Epic [$50/mo total], as oppose to the $70/mo EPRP plan holders have to pay for the Epic or $80/mo everyone else has to pay.

I really hope MightyMike releases something, I am stuck with my TP2 for another year before I am eligible for an upgrade.

Actually it's an unwritten secret that Verizon allows smartphone users to upgrade their phone after one year (even if they're on a two-year contract). You can call into their call center to request it and most, if not all reps will honor it. They just don't advertise it for obvious reasons.

I'm in the same boat as you on upgrade dates. But I fully expect to grab a new device at the one year mark...

...and unless things change, I'll be picking up this beast when it drops before Christmas

Hi, I just installed Mighty Rom and it looks pretty good so far. But my data won't work. What do I need to get my data working on Sprint? I thought that it would be compatible out of the box with Sprint?

What are the must-have cabs that Mighty ROM does not include, b/c it looks like a stock 6.5 installation to me, just faster.

You need to load the correct carrier provision on the phone. I think it is in the windows menu under tools. I hope that helps.

Too bad I'm on Sprint. I'm not going to complain since I pay less than $37/mo after tax/fees - which includes unlimited text/data. I've found that the 6/20 release has been acting really funky lately (just locking up a lot). It was perfectly fine last month and I haven't installed anything different since then.

Make sure your phone is provisioned with the correct carrier, in your case Sprint. look at the first post of mine in this page to follow directions on how to provision.

Credit to hypeo. Here are his instructions: (for the last cab I listed..)
Uninstall Arcsoft (if installed), soft reset, make sure outlook or messaging is turned off through task manager, install this version of Arcsoft, soft reset,
set retrival mode to auto.
For those with issues, look here (mostly for boost mobile users).

Yes, I could not send or receive prior to doing those, but I did try all three and now I can send but not receive. I did not bother to remove the .cabs though, so all three are on there, could that be causing a problem? When I send picture mail I just attach a picture to a text. I can also go to the picture and click on mail from the picture and it brings up three mms options, the "Sprint Picture Mail" with a camera Icon, that does not work at all, says 'picture mail is not supported on this platform'..... and the other two say "Picture Message (SMS / MMS)" and "Picture Mail (SMS / MMS)" Both have the generic phone/envelope icons next to them and both will send picture mail, but I am not able to receive any :(

In Programs the three I have listed are:

imnuts ArcSoft MMS
Arcsoft MMS_Sprint_5_0_94_128c
DCP Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79

I don't remember which is which now, but those are the cabs from the first page that are on there now

Well, my point was that since Verizon allows you to upgrade a year early, perhaps Sprint will too. Doesn't hurt to ask 'em, right?

As for the ROM locking up, this is due to "Windows Rot". I was going to advise you to do a hard reset, but that would be insulting since you're not exactly a n00b around here and I figured you had probably already considered that option.

You can always try another ROM too. Energy seems to run pretty fast lately since it uses newer, less buggy builds of WinMo and a faster Sense version (2018 )

I have the same lockup/freeze up issues, and I have a striking suspicion that it's related to the amount of text messages I have on the phone (a ton; haven't deleted one since 6/20- so prob more than 1000). I've had similar issues in the past when trying to sync 3 separate email accounts with 7-30 days worth of e-mail...

Do you have a similar amount of text messages or e-mail built up over the last few months?

I want to hard reset and start over, but I'm trying to hold out for a final release.

I would suggest this to you:

1. Flash back to stock, then run a profile update and while your at it, run a PRL update

2. Reflash Mighty rom.

3. make sure your phone is provisioned to the right carrier.

4. Install your favorite flavor of Arcsoft. and give that a go. (i'm using the one for GIF support and it works great.

I love the MightyRom. However, after using it for 3 days, the HTC sense started to get very slow, and eventually when rebooted, stuck with the "launching HTC sense" screen.

I then did task29, reinstall the rom and the samething happened after a few days. Tried again, failed again after a few days.

I tried Energyrom and sometimes had that problem too. Although generally I prefer Mightyrom much better!

Is that a hardware problem or has anyone got any suggestions?

Do you have a lot of email and/or text messages? If so, don't sync as much email and clear out some of your old messages. Also, are you installing any manila mods?
