I've had to hard reset 2x.. atm I'm doing a fresh install of another download copy. First time it happened I left my phone to charge after setting all my emails, contacts, ringers, programs (ect) and when I awoke the phone had somehow half reset. It was weird because my programs I installed were gone (I installed them directly to the device not on the card), but my contacts were still there.
I had a gmail and windows live and only the windows live was affected and deleted. Basically I knew something was wrong, 1/2 my stuff was gone so I went ahead and hard reset it maybe to fix any corruption.

The next time my phone started to act sluggish (I was texting, browsing the web, listening to music) and I so soft reset it and the bastard would not come out of the orange loading screen.. soft reset it again and it loaded normally. The issue this time was that my programs shortcuts on the sense home screen showed the default windows flag icon like the program was missing. I tried pressing start but all it did was freeze for a second and not even pull anything up. I was basically only able to use sense and thats all! Luckily theres the clear storage option in the settings tap on sense :P

Idk if I downloaded a corrupted copy of the ROM or if this is actually a bug or its just my phone acting up. It never did this while running 2.1

I'll try downloading the ROM again and do a fresh install. Just throwing my experience out there, maybe I'm not alone.

I believe there have been plenty of posts about this issue. If you reinstalled your old texts from My Phone I know that was identified as a culprit of the sluggishness.

Make sure you turn on GPS in google maps...i was having the same troubles of accuracies of 1200 meter or 1800 meters until I turned on GPS and now its 20 meter locks from 8-10 satelites.

In google maps, click menu>options>use GPS

I see that now, as I had read the reg edit previous to said post and figured it had yet to be done. Thanks for pointing that out.

For me, the difference was negligible, probably a difference of 1-2 hours of use, but about the time I went to manila 2.5, I also started using my phone more. Sense 2.5 is not as light as 2.1 is/was, and is also capable of more frequent data tasks, and those to alone will cause a slight increase in battery drain, just depends on how much you take advantage of the new features on how much it affects you. The faster you get your phone setup, the sooner you'll have consistent battery life to judge against previous/other roms.

I believe that's the second post
I am completely torn about my task bar! On one hand, I look at some of Purian's themes and drool all over myself because they look so cool! On the other hand, I have a hard time living without Wisbar's ability to show open program icons on the task bar. Is there any way for me to have the best of both worlds?

Re: ║MightyROM.com║ ║Windows Phone®║ ║Sense UI 2.5║

I am using the below task bar program, WITHOUT the 1% battery meter mod because I don't mind getting the battery life in 10% increments. The odd thing about the below .cab install did, is that when it goes from 70%, you would expect to see 60% nex, but it shows 59%, then it snows 50%, 40%, 40% etc.. I think that the 60% image was somehow mistakenly missed somehow.

Anyone else run into this?
