|ROM|~[LEAD ROM SENSELESS]~|6.5||10-2-11|

2 Attachment(s)
I've been meaning to make this ROM for a little while, since it was requested a few times. Here's what this ROM is/isn't:

-THIS IS NOT MEANT TO BE A "CLEAN" ROM.
-The aim here is keep things as much Microsoft stock as possible without loosing any of the phone's features.
-The less HTC the better, when it comes to this ROM.

This ROM is solely for YOU guys/girls! This is a one-time release and will not be updated except to fix a bug.

My thoughts exactly.

Are you planning on adding any custom titanium panels LP? Titanium Notifications is a good one. Showaco Home Screen Customizer 1.5 also has some a couple good panels (app launcher. weather).

This is an awesome ROM. Thanks so much! I have been looking for one that was scaled down, steady and reliable. Can you (or someone reading along) how I can make the ALL PHOTOS shortcut open HTC album instead of the WM Pictures and Videos? Is there a registry edit that I can use to change the path of the ALL PHOTOS shortcut? Thanks in advance!

Alright finally got around to trying this ROM and its nice, but I would definitely like to see more HTC basic functionality apps cooked in, or at least available as cabs in the first post like youtube and album, other than that its pretty much perfect like your other ROM.

Also power button doesnt seem to work in the ROM when you hold it down nothing happens, sleep and wake up works fine though.

I tried to open the file but it needs a pw. After reading the first post I see no mention of it. Is this rom only for beta testers?

The password is leadpoizon

No it's not just for beta testers, he just forgot to post the password on the first page, it's the same as his other ROM.

Cool, I didn't include power off warning, so that's probably the reason for the power button issue. I'll include the appropriate version next release. Also, you're right, I'll definitely put cabs together for HTC apps.

Re: |ROM|~[LEAD ROM SENSELESS]~|6.5||beta|

I'll give you some input Lead- hell of a job. So streamlined, reliable and smooth. No issues with it, overclocked to 749 with WinMoSpeed and MobileShell and no issues. I don't like the notification option... questionmark in the taskbar, click it and the tiny little options to choose is sort of hard for my fat hands, but that is honestly my only gripe. Very very nicely done.

Did you leave opera out on purpose?

also, do you think you could cook some custom panels in?

like the ones at this link:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/tp2-themes...ml#post1677640

A good list of custom panels to include would be:
- TRItanium weather 6.1
- Titanium Notifications
- An app launcher (like in the home screen customizer in marketplace)
- a favorite people panel
- mod the calendar panel so that it shows the next appointment instead of the word calendar when it's not active
I had all these set up on my treo pro before because sense wasn't available.

I would like to see added from the following added from sense rom:
HTC WiFi router
Opera
RSS Reader

Thanks for the input. I will look into those custom panels; however, I wanted to keep this as light as possible, so I might either have a light and heavy version of the ROM or I might include cabs for those.

Yes, Safe Internet Tethering is enabled on this ROM. Aaand, I added the Cabs to the first post. I have not tested the cabs myself, so let me know if there are problems. Don't install either on the storage card since they're not meant to be installed there.

thanks lead I'm on Energy ROM titanium right now, there's definitely some apps or versions of apps that he's got cooked in here that I'm going to try and track down before I switch back to your rom.

- GPS Viewer
- Data Controller (newer version than I can find previously)
- New Google Maps with traffic layer.
- wifi monster
- HTC album
- Total Commander (newer version than I can find previously)

I recently installed the 10-2-11 version of Lead Rom and it is flawless. How much additional free ram is available at boot going senseless (standard sprint version of lead rom is 103)? I have no need for the eye candy of sense, but lead rom works so well I questioning the benefit to going senseless. Thanks for what you've done for the speed and reliability of my TP2 Leadpoizon!

I've tried this rom with mobile shell & removing the start menu. I get around 120mb free ram at startup. That's pretty good. the most I've gotten with this setup was using Vin's naked Neodium as a base, which gives me around 125mb at startup.

Re: |ROM|~[LEAD ROM SENSELESS]~|6.5||10-2-11|

I doubt that this post is being looked at very much... but I had a question.

Love this ROM... it's pretty much exactly what I want. However, I can't seem to add any contacts directly to my SIM... I have to save them as Outlook contacts first (which does work) and then copy to the SIM.

When I try to create and/or save a new contact to the SIM, I choose to save the contact as a "SIM contact" and am taken to a screen that asks for the "Name" and "Number" of the contact. However, this screen has no option to actually save the contact (the page only has the "OK" button in the top right corner and the "Menu" at the bottom right... the "Menu" only gives me the option to cancel). It does not save the contact by choosing any of the options ("OK" or "Menu").

If anyone has any idea why it is not allowing me to add a contact directly to the SIM, I would appreciate it. I'm running this ROM on a Verizon TP2 using an AT&T sim card... so I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with the problem.

Very nice job.
This appears to have everything I want (almost) and excludes everything I dont.

I wanted, found, and loaded without any problems:
you tube cab
data controller cab
google maps
opera mini

The only thing missing is a simple slide to unlock
(meaning just a slide needed but no password).

Does any one have suggestions to one that will work.

I know of S2U2 (i think that is what is called), but that appears to be too bid & complicated.

I have one of the energy roms, and it has the unlock i am looking for.

And if you're looking for something simpler, this should suffice. (cab attached) It will lock the phone when the screen is turned off, but not lock it when in a call.
