Is running Task29 necessary? Why are you all doing this?
I have been flashing for awhile and never had to wipe the internal memory...

I am a huge SharkieRom fan but the latest Rom update draines my battery literaly every 5 seconds I loose a percentage. Please look into this so I can re-flash the ROM. Thank you

It's being worked on... Although while several have mentioned high memory usage, none have mentioned battery life. While high memory usage will obviously lead to quicker battery consumption, I don't think most are having a drain as bad as a percent every 5 seconds. You might also want to look into doing some battery saving exercises on your device.

Also, it is widely believed that the higher 1% increments drop quicker for some reason. I do notice that I will drop 1% increments quicker to about 70-75% and then things for me tend to level out, but this is on alot of roms and not one....as i tend to flash upwards to 35 times a week on the low end....:angry7:

Two things:

1) You can't judge a ROMs battery life until after a few days of running the ROM, a few battery cycles, and several soft reset thrown in there. IT will level off after a few days/cycles
2) As stated, the 1% battery meter is very inaccurate, especially in the 90s. I can take it off the charger, have 99% battery, and then 15 minutes later have 90%. But then my battery will last all day.

Just a couple things to toss out there for ya!
