Part of the memory problem is Audio Manager which is something that the Music tab is dependant upon. While I like the music tab, anytime you stop on it, it will run Audio Manager and it won't stop until you kill that process via a task manager. +1 on Nitrogen! Very finger-friendly, skinnable, and easy to use.

Are you planning on removing the Audio Manager? Or just having the Music tab disabled by default? If you remove the Audio Manager, will the CHT player still work?

I won't remove the Music tab or Audio Manager. I figured someone would want those things and as you said, the tab can just be disabled if you don't use it thereby negating the whole issue anyway. Now I'm curious about the CHT player and audio manager. I have never used the CHT player so it never even occurred to me. I'll have to check that out.

I've thought about disabling the Music Tab by default...but I'm still up in the air on that one. I have set the Twitter Tab disabled by default. I was going to remove it, but I know as soon as I do, a fix will come through and I'd have to reupload new ROMs just for that.

Man.... I broke down and got the Epic, I fight with Sprint all time just to see what they give me free...And this is the fifth phone they gave me in a month an a half plus they Fhuck up so much on my bill. So I act like I want to go to ATT (I-phone) and they started kissing my ass an offered to upgrade me, talk into the Epic, but I'll still be here. I'm giving my Phone to my wife or daughter... Don't know yet but I they sending me the Epic for 100 bucks with the credits they gave my account and it'll be here sometime this week. But I'll still be around.

New phones are always exciting. Glad to hear you'll still be around.

On a somewhat separate note...

I seemed to have F'ed up my phone pretty bad. As soon as I plug it up to the pc I get the tri-color boot screen, but with an error message that I can't read cuz it's behind some other numbers and words and in the top right hand corner it says RUUNBH, which I don't think use to be there.

I can't get any ROM including stock to flash past 11%. The only one I can get to fully flash is an NRG ROM, but after it turns back on after turning off the first time after the flash the phone is stuck on the HTC boot screen and is vibrating. The only thing I can do to turn it off is remove the battery...

I might be up shites creek...

are you flashing by pc only...have you tried stock threw sd card?

edit: realized this is my 1st post in your thread (new :D face) but i been looking for another rom. like the look of yours but just to many pre installed apps 4 me :(

I haven't cuz I don't keep a stock ROM on my SD card (I realize now that I should), but so I'm not even able to plug it up to the pc to transfer a ROM to the SD card to try.

I have managed to get the Sprint ROM to fully flash now though...

We'll see if it boots up...

Edit: It booted!! WHEW!!!!!

you could always pop out the sd then connect to pc via adaptor then pop back into the phone, if it didnt boot up

thats good it booted, kinda puts your stomach in a knot waiting huh?

just a quick question...you ever thought of doing a standard version of your rom: meaning keeping the overall theme but taking out added apps? example: ark (i use mmtaskmanager), t commander/resco and the like. (just keeping the bare min. stock) plus maybe a few like the psshut (i dont use this but i like the backround/theme you put on it) i also like the sms theme bubbles which is what made me take a look in the 1st place
