Are you still using Core from Oboe? There are two (I think) things you need to change in the app.reg (if you're still using EVK). If you only change one, I think it can cause Sense to restart.

Hello Sharkie. Noticed this week after the time change that all my all day events are now off by one day. I looked on the Microsoft site and noticed several potential fixes. I haven't read through them yet - but wanted to see if anyone knew perhaps which fix resolves (if any):

Windows CE

Windows CE-based devices
  • KB 972358 A Windows CE 5.0 update is available to synchronize the daylight saving time (DST) changes to the August 2009 cumulative time zone update
  • KB 971994 A Windows Embedded CE 6.0 update is available to synchronize the daylight saving time (DST) changes to the August 2009 cumulative time zone update
  • Download Update for Windows CE
  • KB 958079 FIX: A daylight saving time (DST) update is available for Windows CE 5.0-based devices
EDIT: tried Microsoft download "Microsoft Corp. Feb 2008 DST Fix" (WMDST2008-1.CAB) = still not correct.
EDIT #2: tried everything here: http://www.microsoft.com/nz/windowsm...g/default.mspx. Still no luck. Unless anyone has a better idea - looks like I either deal with it until the old time change schedule (in a few weeks) or I recreate the All Day Events.

Bingo! Thanks for the idea. My 2011 has always worked. Now I just have to figure out why it stopped working... Perhaps it got slightly corrupted. Anyway, at least now I know I can get Facebook updating to work properly. Thanks again! :)

Thanks for all the help on this thread ... I'm curious if any of you all primarily use the Android boot up? I'm not familiar if there are other dual boot versions .. i'm new to this stuff. In any case, I've been running it a couple of days now and found a few quirks but it's pretty cool thus far.

For those of you running it, what issues have you noticed?
The issues i have found so far are:
1) Wifi not working
2) Battery life is not good ... need to charge the phone at midday then again at night (with light use)
3) No home button.
4) Google maps crashed on me (only tried this once)

Just wanted to let you know that I saw this and I'll look into it.

Thanks Sharkie. Might be tough to recreate for yourself to test though. You probably would need an Exchange server with the date set back a few week ago along with your phone set back in time. Then create some all day events that fall in the time period of the new time change (March 13th) and the original time change date (~ April 3rd) on your Exchange account. Then sync. Then move the Exchange Server and your phone to today's date. In theory - you would then see all your all day events off by 1 day for the month of March 2011.

This has been an issue ever since I had the TP2 - since the federal government pushed the DST dates forward by 1 month in spring and 1 month back in the fall. If you read the forums - people have had mixed success with the fixes I posted.

^ i have noted this 2 an read a few of the threads. my conclusion is this is a bug that has no fix except to manually change the hrs or deal w/ it. i def. could be wrong but for now i went the route of maually change the hrs.
