Two quick things:

1 - Has anyone had trouble with the Sense fonts not changing on any of the ROMs with CHT 2.0? Some ppl over at XDA have had some trouble, and they're thinking it's due to CHT 2.0, but I've been running this ROM (2.0 R1) since it released, and haven't had any trouble.

2 - I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!! This is an awesome time of year, so I hope everyone gets to celebrate with friends and family!

Whenever I adjusted the volume on a call, after I hang up and go back to the home screen and then adjust the volume control to change the ringer volume, the volume controls no longer control ringer volume - they are stuck on phone volume adjustments. Also - as WJA77 states - I notice the volume of the ringer has gone down as well on this version.

One last item - you mentioned you were going to look into all day appointments settings on the lock screen and home page. Interestingly now that I removed Cookies, all day events do not show. They did with Cookies installed. Any luck finding how to adjust that manually?

I have confirmed that going back to v1.3 does fix the ringer sound issue. It's interesting, if on v2 (official or CE-any version) the ringer seems to max out at about 1/2 or less normal volume. If i place a call to the phone and then hang up part of the last ring seems to be at a higher volume, but this does not happen all the time. It is quite weird actually. I even tried a registry fix that i found on a ppcgeeks forum while searching for a solution and that did not help... I am back on v1.3 now, but really like some of the new/improved features in v2.0 and would like to go back if a fix for the ringer volume can be found... Other than that i have not seen any issues with v2.0

Is this just me or are there others having the same issue?

been on your 2nd to last ce (23150) build since release. honestly, imo, i would of flashed different rom way back if it werent for lack of time. this is not agianst the cooking but i think that build and i dont get along. i been having multiple sense wont load after soft reset (random) apps i always use (been threw the ringer) causing random freezes. i just personally dont like this build.

so i just dl'ed the latest ce release and will run w/ this for awhile and see if this build treats me well. :mrgreen:

Also, how much of a pain in the ass would you find it if I added a custom 1st splash screen? You know, the very first screen that comes up when your phone first starts up. That would mean you would have to either flash back to a stock ROM to get the stock splash screen back or, if you know how (I would link a "how to" tutorial in the 1st post), change the splash screen yourself to whatever you want. Just curious...

This is what you'll find in the registry. Change HomeLSKPath to the path of whatever it is you want to run using that button. Use file explorer or the like to find the path to whatever app you want run if you're not sure where it's at.

Change HomeLSKText to whatever you want that button to say.

Anyone know the location of the lock program/toggle? I want to change the contacts button on the home page to a lock button so I don't have to click the start button to go to the next screen to get the lock icon. I am not running CHT/Cookies so I don't have the option to add as a favorite icon.

In the meantime, here's the Lock Device app that I've included in the ROM in cab form. I can't remember where I got the original from exactly. This cab will put a Lock Device link in Start Menu\System Tools. I'm not sure that the icon in the cab will be the one I'll use or not. I'm still working on it.

You can also set the long press end key to lock the phone as well via Start Menu\Settings\Personal\Buttons.

Thanks Sharkie. Since you are working on adding a lock icon to an upcoming release, I can wait for it. The bluetooth toggle will be excellent too. Great to hear. Removing CHT sure has made my device much snappier. Really liking it except for the ringer volume issue. Very strange that I can't control the ringer volume. I did notice that when I am on a call and I receive a 2nd incoming call and I try the volume control, a different volume control screen appears - looks like a HTC control screen rather than the normal volume screen with the vibrate and silent icon at the bottom.

btw ... already tried the END button option as you described. Looks like it is already tied to ShutXP.
