When the space key is pressed twice, is there a way to disable the automatic period + space? I'd just like 2 spaces. I've searched the thread, but couldn't find an answer.

There's a lot of options under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\eT9]. I don't know what one might turn that off, but you could play around and see if setting one of them to 0 turns it off. Looking at the registry entries for the ezinput packages, that looks like the place where most of the options like that are.

I believe that I cooked a "Long Press End Key" package into v1.3 and v2.0 and v2.1 ROMS.

I'm not sure why it's not showing up under the personal\buttons\settings, but check:
HKCU\Software\HTC\LongPressEndKey:

Changing the "AutoExecute" value to 2 will set the long press end key to automatically lock the phone.

Changing it to 1 will automatically toggle between airplane mode

and changing it to 3 will automatically toggle between vibrate and ringer.

Also changing the "IsQuickListShow" value to 1 will pull up the quick list of options when one long presses the end key.

Can someone look and see if they have these strings in their registry?

Also, if you do, can you set it to show the quick list and tell me what options are provided to you in the quick list?

Re: Update[10-12-10]★SharkieROM v2.1★Generic\Sprint[23563\21916][Sense2019]

I think I upgraded to a newer package in v2.0 that wasn't quite right. I'd never used it so I didn't notice. I've fixed it now though...

I'm still trying to get the kinks out of core 2017, 18 or 19. The scrolling in Sense SMS doesn't work with any of them. I've been trying the newer HTC messaging builds to see if I can get them to work, but it seems they only work with a SIM card in the phone. I don't have and don't really need a SIM card. So I'm thinking of sticking with 2016 for stability. I'm just not sure where I want to go yet, which is why things are slow

As far as sms goes, i would stick to stable/fast. If thats 16 then stay, no need to upgrade if the upgrade wont perform better or as good, at least. No prob on end key, havent used/noticed till i checked for you.

Couple ideas...also bubble skin wm sms ( i can find link and wvga example skin if you like), do a lil more skinning on cht (softkeys, etc.)

Thanks for the updates

here is the post w/ the modified 4 wvga wm sms skin. xda-developers - View Single Post - [SKIN SMS][06 Feb 10 UPDATE!]Beautify your standard WM SMS Thread! [All Res][WM6.1+]

seems you would need to install win7 skin on 1st post the overwrite files in zip found on linked post. this skin seems to also fix double scroll bar issue and all is optimized 4 our screen size. 2nd post of this thread explains process, also if you look at the same page as linked post he gives a quick dirty step by step.

although this skin would not color match to your rom maybe it wouldnt be hard to change the color of the bubbles to match 4 your rom? this mod/skin, matched, would look right on point. i also have not tested this skin but will if you would like and also would try an help you out w/ modding/testing it.

also i was thinking bout the cht softkeys...the backround for the softkeys would look good in a "3d glass" w/ the icons sitting on top like effect. similar to the froyo style dock backround. as 4 the icons, im not sure what skin/icons would look good but....everytime i see you 1st post or skin/backround on the rom i always think surfing/wood (against your overall blue style), and the beach. maybe its just me, maybe im missing home agian, hawaii, and this rom and how it skinned gives me a reminder of the great state of 808!

i dont know if its been mentioned at all but i just noticed in the kimi? htc sms that when scrolling up it wont scroll to the very top but bounce down exactly 4 txts.

this isnt at all a big deal and could be a bug w/ this mod but just thought i would post anyways. i never reread old txts but i just so happened this once and thats how i noticed, agian not a big deal
