Well damn, Suppose it's back to the sprint rom if I can't use sms :( Otherwise, great work on this rom.

Im confused the windows mobile app works for texting I know Im on sprint the htc works for sprint idk how you would have issue if your trying to text unless you added a third party texting app.

no idea either, mms doesnt work with new htc messaging but sms does. any luck on tether issue?

If you installed the a 2016 messaging client theb that is the issue most likely....otherwise I am confused....sms and mms both work on this rom...the only thing different I did was over write the built in mms with my cab....

The only cab I've installed so far is the one that allows me to boot into Android. I can send a sms via the htc app, that works just great. However it's when I try to send a sms message to somebody I can't get to in the htc sms app that I run into a problem. To replicate the issue, from the today screen click on the Messages icon, tap "All messages" then tap a message in your inbox. This will drop you at the Windows SMS app. Enter some text and try to send using the little icon that looks like an envelope. This is a problem I've run into on this bug fix release and the release prior. While it is possible to circumvent the problem and try to navigate yourself back into the HTC sms app, it's a pain.

Basically you're replying to a exsisting text, right? - - - Today screen, message icon, all messages, message in inbox, type message (reply) and hit the "send envelope". Works for me.

Well now I feel ripped off, what carrier did you provision the phone to? I'm on the L3GION ROM STOCK HTC 1.5 build.
