Re: {BigMaxSense ROM} ☼Fresh 23563/21901 Tonight☼ The Quickest, Most Customizable Man

I have a dumb question what's the difference between 23563 and 21901? Is one color and one stock?

Re: {BigMaxSense ROM} ☼Fresh 23563/21901 Tonight☼ The Quickest, Most Customizable Man

Ok, hopefully this isn't too dumb of a question-I don't consider myself a noob anymore, but here goes.

My carrier is USC and I have been using the MaxSense rom the other day when it was released and have ABSOLUTELY no patience right now waiting for the new USC rom. I know...dumb. But I have to work all day tomorrow and Saturday so I have no idea when I will be able to update again (like I said...no patience!)
Is it ok to flash the Verizon rom that is ready to go and just either a)change the settings to get it to work for me, or b) run a provisioning cab?
Is this possible or do I need to just wait??
I can't help it - this stuff is addictive! lol Its an awesome rom!

Thanks for the help! And a HUGE thanks to Big for the hard work on the rom...its so awesome

Re: {BigMaxSense ROM} ☼Fresh 23563/21901 Tonight☼ The Quickest, Most Customizable Man

Big, just finished the bulk of my customization of the 6/3 VZW 23563 build. Looks good (I am still working on my layout of the three home screens). Don't know how you changed the sensitivity of the Home icon (I'm not having trouble with it) but the overall sensitivity of the screen in a general sense seemed 'less sensitive'. Don't know if this is real or I'm tired. It did appear that the Voice Command fix didn't take. I still had the same error message when checking the 'enable' and OK'ing. Ran the MSVC1[1].6.20771 cab posted earlier and that fixed it. I had 63.75 MB Ram free after installation, colorize and cab install. Seems to have been running about 47 - 52 MB free in my testing since. I like the ArkSwitch change and haven't had any problems. Haven't finished all my tweaking but thought I would leave this for you in the AM.

Still a fantastic ROM. Be proud - great job.

21901 is 6.5
23563 is 6.5.x

6.5 is considered a bit more stable by some. 6.5.x is the later version and has some functional extensions. Many people will debate which is best. I'm a 23563 person myself. Hope this helps.

Re: {BigMaxSense ROM} ☼Fresh 23563/21901 Tonight☼ The Quickest, Most Customizable Man

couple issues that i notice in this version( sprint 23563) is... in the "sms alert" screen on the main page, it shows the oldest message instead of the newest. am i doing something wrong? which also relates to the msg window it, instead of automatically taking me to the newest message first it takes me to the oldest. Also on the message screen, it'll say "messages" overlapping my contacts so it's all jumbled. I hope this makes sense. so far everything else is super keep up the good work

one more thing, i was messing with the different alarm tones.. and i have a bunch of random lettered options which do nothing. anyway to clean this up?

I don't know how many bookmarks you have--I just do them on each flash

as far as the "random" lettering/numbering of ringtones---yes, it has been noted...also happening on alarms too. and the overlaping--yep, been noted too, thanks for the confirmation. a SR or sliding screens seems to clear that up....not sure why that's going on, but working on it.

the oldest message???? mine takes me to the newest??? Keep an eye on this and PM me if this continues, i'll let Big know
