Sorry, I apparently deleted the link when I updated the page, it's up now or you can use this link: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YXH81FGB

Does anyone have the correct Sprint Keyboard cab and Sprint MMS cab? When searching, I see so many different versions associated with Sprint, and am just wondering which are the right ones for the Sprint TP2.

If you ran the Sprint provisioning upon flash, your MMS should work out of the box without any other alterations. I know that if you click on the paperclip of my Dusk ROM, the Sprint Keyboard is in there.

Thanks Xpress. I DL'd that Sprint Keyboard cab before, but just wanted to make sure that was the right one.
By the way, is there a list of programs that are included on the Clean ROM and ones that are included on the Squeaky Clean ROM, as I understand it is not a bare bone ROM.

On another note I was messing around with the Flamerise tsk and learned that you are using Windows messaging as the HTC messaging has a blue gloss selector. I do not know what files are in the WM messaging. It is NOT tied to only the Black Flamerise but all themes. the only solution I could offer would to switch the WM messaging screen with one of these Themes

The only problem with those is that some are not 6.5x compatible and the Ninja one that would be perfect isn't yet. I took apart one of the 6.5x cabs to see if the files are similar to those in the rom I was running and there were no similar files WTF???

As of right now I am at a loss and will need to look further into but that thread is the only one for WM messaging themes.

So if you stick with HTC Messaging you are fine, only MMS will take you to the Windows Messaging.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. :angry3:

EDIT: not perfect but this may work for now
The creator has it running on 6.5x. Just copy all the files into your windows folder and overwrite all of them. IF not able to let me know and I will cab it for you.

hey. sorry i took so long to respond. been really busy lately. thanks for the reply and looking into what the deal with the messaging thing is. i really appreciate it. i tried the htc messaging and everything is legible so that works for now. i looked into the link you posted for the other temp solutions but not really fond of the bubble style....toomuch like um...iphone... haha but thanks for the option. :) i also checked out the CFC link. im not sure i completely understand it. im not to informed on how to modify rom files and such and that tool looks a lil complicated for me... but it seems as if you grab all the img files from manilla and compress them and since itmakes them smaller, the phone can load them faster which makes manila run a lil smoother??? thats what i gathered from reading it. is that somewhat what it does, along with other things?

Howdy! I am really digging this ROM, but was wondering if there is a Sqweaky CLEAN XYC 21901 version? The 23563 version just doesn't run some of my apps properly due to the close button being in the lower right.

Thank you for all your work on this!

Actually that is exactly what it does. There is the CFC_gui program that will allow you to take all the manila files from the rom, then you edit them in Mode9, then upload them back to the rom. There is an option in the CFC_gui to compress them, that way the manila files are compressed like the rest of the rom.

Yea I am not a fan of the bubbles either, but it was the only stop gap out there, for now.

overwrite the file named "digits.wav" in your windows folder. Anything longer than 5 secs won't play all the way through

so is it pretty simple to extract, compress, and re-upload the files? is it really worth all the effort? like can you tell the difference in speed? by speed do you mean the smoothness of the grafics or the loading of programs/apps or both or.....??? will it stop MESSAGING FREEZES!!???????? will it stick after hard reset? sorry for all the questions. im all for making the phone faster since we are stuck with the qualcom.... lol just dont wanna do a ton of work to MAYBE see a minor change... u know? thanks man!! youve been such a great help!!! :D
