Starting this morning with a clean kitchen, will see what happens from there. I am beginning to think the dialer is the problem. It's a huge dialer, over 17mb alone vs 9mb for the normal dialer. The question is why doesn't expressyourcell's rom have the same problem. So it must be me and some mod that I did. Finished the Sprint only rom last night. Putting all the graphics, dialer, taskbar in and got the same thing. Different xip (23562) and OEM's. V9.4.1 is a good rom except for camera issue.


ModmyPPC would you post some pictures showing me what is wrong with the two messengers. Thanks
Well Im at work and the V9.4.1 rom is at my house computer. I will post it when I get home 9 hours from now.

Refresh my memory, which select all? Call History, Messages, I don't remember which one. And no I didn't work on that yet. Wanted to get a rom available that was not having memory issues with the camera. So if you must it working, then by all means flash another rom. It's on my list of things to correct. But this camera issues as taken me 1.5 weeks to fix.
I think I'm to ask the boss for a raise! :mrgreen:

Call history. What I meant by flashing another Rom refers to flashing another one of yours. I'm very happy with everything about the current version except the Select All in call history.

If the only difference is the camera then I'm happy with what I have until the call history is fix.

I believe hes talking about deleting the call history. If you go to menu under the delete call history the pop up do "select all" doesn't pop up.

Ok here are some screen shots

about the HTC messaging and Windows messaging and them not communicating

If you look at screen shot 1 it shows that a text came through. If you look at screen shot 4 it shows the HTC messenger and how a text came in (I sent two texts, I took the picture before I received the second testing timberwolf text)

However, If you look at screen shot 2 it shows windows messenger and how the inbox is empty. It seems as though the two are not communicating.

Hope this helps clarify the issue. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Now the thing is sometimes if I recieve a text in HTC messenger it wont show in windows messenger and visa versa.

Ok just checked with delete and it work. Try the rom and see if it works for you. All Carrier V9.4.2 Dusk Icon available in first post.

Well the camera problem appeared to fixed 99.9%. Under rare conditions you could the message as before. Here's what I found.

1. Fresh boot, run opera,teeter, solitaire,bubble breaker,file explorer,facebook and ran the camera and it works. The memory got so low when I ran the camera, the phone closed opera and teeter without and warning. But the cmaera worked!
2. Close all programs and memory returned to 77mb. Ran skyfire, and several other programs and camera works.
3. Close all programs, did 3 sms and 2 mms messages to self. DL'ed 3 emails for my account. Tried to run camera and no go. Checked memory and it was sitting at 42mb. Ran Cleanram level 3, recovered 1.87mb. ? why only 1.87mb. No other programs running, had to do a soft reset. Memory return to 63.46mb. Not the same as fresh boot without contacts and emails. My memory at 1st was about 77mb.

A new program added to the list (BsB Tweaks), you can find it under Utilites Folder. Nice find suntopper!

Glassy Icon V9.4.2 23563 uploading and then Dusk 28232 for hunter 7773.

Edit: also added two new themes available in the rom (Dusk & Pewter 6.5) check it out.
