I've seen similar posts that refer to sdconfig when talking about XDA_UC. I tried earlier to use a sdconfig.txt file (which I like because I allows me to copy shortcuts into my games directory) but it didn't work. What I found that does work is to create an "XDA_UC" directory on the top level of your storage card and put the cabs you would like to run into it. When you reset after provisioning your phone it will run all the files in your "XDA_UC" directory. If you have to provide user inputs it will break and let you before continuing on. (e.g. skyfire)

Also, I'm trying to learn XDA_UC, but when I look up on it, it sends me to SDCONFIG. Am I on the right trail?

Does V9 have the lighter font that was in the beta? I have been running your V8 versions and I love the bolder font....especially when I receive a text. Your work is much appreciated!!

Jstine,

Just a report on the v.9 final flash.
Everything flashed via activesync normally. I ran the carrier provisioning app from the menu vice a soft reset as you suggested with no problems. I did have the out of memory error when trying the camera but a soft reset solved it. I also had an issue when trying to select a picture to send as an mms. When I went to "My Device" all the blocks were blank. Again the soft reset fixed this. So now I can call/receive, SMS, MMS, use camera (both still and movie).

The new task bar seems better (but that may be because it's new) and the random (or not) working icon is cool. Not sure how it will work when I go back to my blue background!

It just keeps better and better. Great Job!

Random working icon?:dontknow:

What is this? Havn't flashed yet I have to much things on the v8.3 and it doesn't look like there enough change for me to jump ship.

Just a testament to your great roms. :notworthy:

In the final v9, the "working" indicator (icon) is basically several small blue squares instead of the thin line on the horizontal bar. The squares show up randomly in the middle of the screen while you're waiting. I think it's the result of jstine using the new taskbar. \\:D/

It's started to appear that with XDA_UC and Provisioning you will need to do a soft reset twice with the final XDA_UC is finished, just not sure yet what is required.

Correct!

Have not had time to change to a different set. Coming at sometime in the future. To what I don't know yet.

Picture's worth a thousand words right! (even if it's not so good)

I always get a message after XDA_UC asking if I want to reset although it's not necessary. I don't know what it would say if I had something like a theme or taskbar in the directory. I would assume a reset would be necessary at that point.

I'm not complaining about the new working icon, it's new so it's interesting!

Also, have you posted the red feather wallpaper?

TIA,
ST
