KillerRW you have been with this build (28232) since the start. V8.3 is nothing more than graphic change you. I would look at something else than the rom.

So far I am not a happy camper with 23569 V9 rom. My phone froze 2x's today, that never happens to Me.:confused2::mad:

If I remember correct, you like the Sprint Nav Tab. Which is only available on the Speical Sprint rom. That build's xip is 23562 and manila 1324 has been the best Sprint rom so far. BT icon does work in with the new dialer. Has something to do with Sprint's BT stack.
So my answer is no, stay with that rom until I add the new graphic changes then I will repost as V8.5. If I were to pick any (Sprint) rom to keep on my phone, that would be it.

Hey Jstine, can I ask you to include pim in the next build of V8.5. I use it to recover my text, pics, and stored phone #'s. You're right the Special Sprint rom is the bomb.:notworthy:

Mr. Wolf, just to report in with my 2 cents: after 24 hours with V9 no lock-ups and still seems faster to me. I know I don't use all of the applications and features of this Rom, but everything I do use works great.

Can't see where anyone else has had this issue, but can someone tell me where the list of available quicklinks are kept in the file system or how to add additional (non installed/preinstalled) program to be available to be made a quicklink? Specifically, I like to have comm manager to turn bluetooth and wireless lan on and off. But when I choose an empty quicklink button and select "program", comm manager is not on the list of available choices. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

"Specifically, I like to have comm manager to turn bluetooth and wireless lan on and off." You and me both, if you find it let me know. On my wish list to Santa. On V9 you will find the comm manager shortcut available also under Utilites Folder and the Settings/Connection folder.

The choice of comm manager is in the energy roms, but yours are so much better that I won't go back there for that. there has to be a file that tells manila what .lnk is at each quicklink position. I'm all for editing the file to manually put the link in. I just don't have the technical know-how to find the right file to edit. Other than that one tiny thing, i think your rom is the best out there especially for eye candy. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly

If I'm reading this right, you'd like to have com manager as a quick link. Try this: Go into total commander (tools folder) find CommManager.lnk in the windows directory, highlight it and select "move/copy" (copy to clipboard won't work), then navigate to windows\start menu\programs in the tree option and select copy. The com manager should be available to select.

Of course, if I'm not reading this right, then disregard! :)
