Did you uninstall any cab that you tried already. If not, then do so. If you have, then try a hard reset or flash you phone again and then try the settings you got from howard forums. DO NOT install any other cabs, should not be needed. That might be what is messing with the mms/sms already in the rom. One question, you stated 99% of the time. So does that mean some of the mms message did send or receive. If some are sending and some are you can receive then it's not the mms cab I use. Try sending one to yourself, if that works then maybe it's from the other carrier that you are getting the message from. And you did not say if it was sms or mms only or is it both. Also please state what version of all carrier 8.3 you are using, 23563 or 28232. I hope you did not flash using 23562 for Sprint.

Edit again: Once you have done all of the above. Try this attachment, it's the carrier cab for Metro PCS. Does you data connection work before you install any cabs? If yes and the mms/sms is still not working then your setting are wrong in mms options. If data connect does not work then try this cab after fresh flash.

I am using 8.3 28323 all carrier cab. I am not able to send at all. The msg makes it to 99% and fails. I am in the process of reflashing now and I will start over.

To All: Good news, I have V9 23569 done and working well. Will check as beta tomorrow at work. If all goes well I will post as a beta here for download. Sorry to all that use voice command, I just now found that is missing in 23563. That will be corrected in the next release. If version 9 with 23569 does not work out I will repost 23563 with voice command pre-installed for those like it. Sorry I don't have a cab to release.

How's it goin Jstine! Do you have any updates to the Special Sprint rom? I've been running that since you put out the first upgrade and am totally happy with it. I like everything that you put on that rom. Or, is one of the newer roms better than the Special Sprint rom?

No more confused than me. I guess it's because I been on the Sprint Only rom for the past week. And for the 1st time I just flashed to 23569 and VC was not there. So I thought I forgot to place in 23563. Glad to hear that it's there. Sorry for the confusion, my mistake, been working to hard at work and flashing roms. Thanks Suntopper for the feedback. So far 23569 is looking good, fast and so far stable. Might be the next best rom! I have noticed that the font is smaller than the one I have been using in the Sprint Only rom. Or is it the same that you have seen in my past rom? Too small my personal taste. Tell me what you think. Time for me to hit the sacak, up early for work.

I really like this rom, is there anyway to get rid of the black background screen in the text messaging box? Its really hard to read for me because sometimes the text is highlighted in grey, making the white text hard to read. Is this simply a theme problem? If so, does anybody have a Flamerise theme cab?

is this on the sprint only version? I am not getting any pop that says XDA_UC has started even after leaving it for about 5 minutes

What version are you using? If its the latest try a hard reset. I do remember that one of your roms had small text and I think its the one im on now (V8.3 sprint) but the text isn't small anymore. So try a hard reset and see if that fixes it.

Are you on v6.3 special sprint rom?

V7 and above he converted all quicklinks to have a dusk border. So even if you install cabs without the border once you make it a quicklink it adds the border. VERY COOL IDEA HE HAD it gives it a finished look.

the newer version also has the dusk theme dialer with matching colors to the theme of your liking.

I find it pretty interesting how I use to have to flash once a day to find a stable rom and now I just want to flash his new rooms because I want to see what is new haha I pretty much flash out of curiousity instead of need.

I was using version 7 for like 2 months before I decided to jump ship. I had it running the way I wanted everything was set up. I just got spoiled and wanted the dusk dialer. :twisted:haha

Note to All: On the past 4 posting, I will address those issues in the next release. I am back working on the all carrier rom. Now updated to 23569 and working well. All of your statments above have been noted and will addressed in the next release. I was spending too much time with the Sprint Only rom and not paying attention to the all carrier. Yes, the text is to small and some other that I will change.
I don't have my reading glasses on and cann't see wan what I am tryping. So just read between the line and what I wanted to say.

Once again, what graphics changes would you like to see. Something like the GTX (white), black and chrome. Color taskbars to match the color themes. Naked women, or men depending on your gender (or life style). LOL

Attached is a program that is said to change the font sizes withing. Use at your own risk, for I have only beta tested and need more time to get it to work right. You can always removed if it doesn't work for you.
