Everyone:
What does everybody else think? I can move back to build 23554 and the old dialer would work. Or wait and see if I can a new dialer to work. Please post your answer. Newer build or older build that works with facebook.

I am probably in the minority but I don't use Facebook much so I prefer the newer build but I am ok with either. I think the newer build seems faster though and smoother so I like it better but it is probably an illusion in my mind8-)

I like the newer version. I have pictures attached to outlook so I still get the pictures to show up on the dialer, just not any facebook updates, not a big deal to me. I like the new build as well.

kevmueller, what settings did you change? I'm having a simular problem on Telus. Thanks.

I had to go in to the connection settings and under advance select network I had to change this the internet setting to My ISP and then under tasks I had to add a new modem connection under My ISP with the number #777 (verizons 3G modem number). I did not fill in anything but the number to dial and then opened Opera up and clicked on save password and it filled in the rest of the data for the connection. I then was able to use VVM with no problems.

Hope this help.

How you doing TW! Can you advise me if the windows SMS can be changed? I like the old one or the former one where the person picture was at the top. Also I find it difficult to read new messages with the background color. Using HTCs SMS tends to freeze my phone so I stay away from it. Any suggestions I would appreciate it thanks

ok, thanks. After turning weather off and doing a couple resets, it seems better speedwise. I'll run it for a bit and report. Cheers.

Quick edit - when using google maps, and pressing the little blue dot to find your location, a message comes up saying "current location is temorarily unavailable". Anybody else getting this?

I was using GoogleMaps all day and had the same issue. Takes awhile to get it to recognize your location. Is it because there is not AGPS on the ROM? That usually allows a quick "general" location find before actual GPS lock.

The 3D Graphics did not help.

Enough complaining. Great ROM. Just flashed over from NRGZ Cookie and love what you have done. If all goes well over the next couple days then a bartender is needed.

New build is awesome..Love it! Dialer is great. Everything..I have noticed that there is more memory leak in this build but overall the best ROM yet! Thanks again!!!!

Have you used quick gps? I think it basically does what AGPS did (update sat locations). Go into start menu > tools and open quick gps. I always set it to download automatically but I think I'm always flashing before it updates LOL. Hit the the download button and you should get fast gps locks.

I always use QuickGPS before starting Google Maps. It definitely makes a huge difference. I was guessing with the AGPS.

I have never seen this issue with Google Maps before having flashed 100 times with my Omnia and now a dozen or so with my TP2. Google Maps is my #1 used app on my phones. It should immediately put your location within 1800m after hitting the blue button. Doesn't do that on this ROM.

Thanks for looking into it enough to respond.
