Good info to know, let me know about 1.5.2 with 23563. Maybe there is something in 23129 and I need to drop back to 23563 for MaxSense. 23129 seems to be working fine for Sense 2.5 since I have not read any post with problems.

So are you ready for 31 August (Epic) Day. Did you pre-order from best buy or did you get yours ordered from sprint before they cutoff preorder?
With Best Buy you don't have to pay the $100 mail rebate, just the $249. Going Tuesday to place my order. I really like the TP2 wih the MaxSense rom and I was hoping that Maxycy would resolve the problems by now.

I pre ordered mine from the Radio Shack guys in my local Sams Club. They have the same instant rebate as Best Buy, I just had to buy a $50 gift card as a good faith gesture, but I can use it towards the phone when I pick it up.

I have sent a couple messages from my wife's phone directly to my number and to my GVoice number and replied to them. They all went through within seconds. I will stay on this ROM for a few days and see if I notice any errors.

Timber Wolf, If and when you re-cook the Sprint V10 Sense 2.5 without the CHT could you revert it back to the OEM Sprint SMS? I'm still getting the freeze ups and soft resetting is the only way to get it going again. Been trying the clean RAM and stuff you suggested but it's still happens. Can I use a cab to install the other sms application? I would try that 1st. thanks, tommy.

I as well as one of my co-workers is having lockup issues with sms as well. We are both using v10 MaxSense All Carrier provisioned for Verizon. It doesn't seem to matter if there are many messages or no messages in the database. It seems to be reproducable by selecting a message that takes you to the threaded ballon conversation screen & @ the same time sliding open the device to use the keyboard in horizontal mode... the screen will hang & @ the bottom it will say loading message... it also seems to hang maxsense. Sometimes cleanram & restart Sense fixes it & sometimes it doesn't.
On this flash I didn't experience this problem until 4 days after I flashed. I always Task29, then Hard reset "clear ram" before I start using the rom.
This is one of the most stable roms I have used & kudos to TW.

Easy fix, already in the rom. Select bottom right menu, edit widgets, tap on weather widget, uncheck original graphics. Good to go now, back the standard weather graphics.

ModmyPPC: You are the best person to tell me if we should go back to 23563. Did the MaxSense have message problems before I changed to 23129 xip.

Thanks to everyone making post and comments. Makes my heart feel good just to the posting even if it's to complain about a problem. As I see more things in common I will a better idea of where to start looking to fix the problems. A BIG THANKS ALL

There is one of those cell phone kiosks in Sams Club. Appearantly it is a Radio Shack outlet. I didn't realize that prior to ordering either, I just figured it was part of Sams, and since we go there once a week anyway it was an easy stop. Cell phones and accessories are the only thing the guys at the kiosk sell.

Hey TW, I flashed the
Sprint V10 Sense 2.5 And I have to admit I like it a lot. Have to admit your work with MaxSense was my best experience for me. Been having freezeup issues with the Sprint V10 Sense. Has anyone experienced a red signal indicator with no bars showing signal strength phone still works, data is operable and is able to receive calls. But when I push phone button dialer won't show up nor call logs show. Can't make calls and my entire saved numbers won't show when trying to access them. Anyone have a solution? I'd be greatly appreciated.
