I know this sounds like a stupid question. But have you sync your phone with your computer yet. I know unless you setup the WDMC with the phone, internet sharing will not work.

WDMC?

I never synced my phone with my laptop.

Just went to internet sharing selected USB and hit connect and it connected without having to do anything else.

Since I didn't have a usb cable I havn't used it since your 9.7 rom or so. Always used wifi router.

Are you using XP, Vista, Win7, 32 or 64bit system. Nothing has changed in the latest rom. I can sharing internet with my phone connected to my computer with V10 and MaxSense 1.5.3 without problems. But I am on Win7 64bit and have to sync with WDMC 1st before my Trendmicro firewall will allow the connection. Is it maybe your firewall stopping the sharing?

I have changed the manila file you mentioned and it worked. You may want to try using the attached cab.

It updates the weather city database and also uses a different host for weather updates which has seems less problematic than the default.

Mail and Stock icons also cut off on right hand side but no big deal to me.

Been using the MaxSense 1.5.2 version (23563) for several days now and really loving it. I've tried BigMaxSense three times and had stability issues all three times, so I was a bit skeptical about trying another MaxSense based ROM.

So far, so good. No stability issues, and battery life seems as good or better than stock.

My only two (minor) annoyances are the "X" minimizing instead of closing applications and (personal taste really) the overly colorful icons/widgets.

These from Big are really more to my liking, is there any chance they would work with the TW MaxSense ROM?

Is the 1.5.3 upgrade worth the flash dance? I'm pretty happy with the phone right now, but I think I'm coming down with a case of Flash Addiction. :lol:

Really though, doesn't seem to be a whole lot of changes, a few graphics. And I think maybe 1.5.3 is a little bit quicker, could just be me though. :toothy7:

Thanks, will look at adding to the rom.

Will work on that today, icons need to reduced to smaller by 10 pixels.

You don't like the colorful icons/widgets.=;

Make the move when the addiction takes over.LOL 23563 was a very good base and 23129 appears to be as good or better. Main reason for making the switch as the 235xx series stopped being released. If you are happy with the rom then stay with it. Major changes in 1.5.3 is Wallpaper's available in document folder + a few custom widgets background, 23129 and a few added graphcis changes, glass backgrounds look better.


Also I see Bignadad was using Ameba, will install it and give it a shot for closing programs. If it works well without causing lockups or freezes I will add to next release.
It does appear to be a little faster plus reported to have better memory management.

reflashed bacck to v10 all carrier n no problems.
my prev flash must have been a bad flash for some strange reason :-)
anyways travelling to hong kong today.
first time i will be testing on roaming as well as a new sim (hk)
will keep ya informed...
