well this whole landscape thing may be a showstopper for me. unless someone knows a way to show the clock when you open the keyboard I think im headed back to 9.8. I use my phone as my alarm while its charging at night. I open the keyboard and put it on the nightstand so I can see the clock. I guess I could just pick it up but im to lazy.

still can't send a mms directly from the album. flashing back to 9.8 for now. I could get use to max but I need my clock.

btw the hard reset cleared up a lot of the issues with max.
also I didn't find sky fire???

Suntopper I can understand, us old guys get set it our ways and it hard to change. So you leave your phone on dim and use it as an alarm clock, high priced alarm. LOL

To send a picture from you album: Goto the album, select a picture, when you have the picture as the only thing on the screen. Tap once and bring up the menu, you will see two arrows pointing up left and right. Tap the arrows and select message. You know the rest, it does work, but maybe not for VZW.

MaxSense does still have issues that are being worked out. For one thing MaxSense adds 5mb's on top of what is already there. If the UI replaced Manila that would be great. When I post beta 3 today I will stop any further work on MaxSense until another version is released to fix the problems is available. V9.8.1 coming later this week with only minor changes.

FYI

Memory now available @ 40-42% (81mb's) at boot! Every Manila fle as been CFC in every part of the rom. Could be 85 with without Voice Commander and Touch Response. Landscape is not supported yet in MaxSense. So if this is a deal breaker then do not load the beta 3 I will post tomorrow. Time for me to hit the bed.:headbang:

Well the way I figure it, I save the price of an alarm clock so the phone pays off... (gotta plug it in every night anyway!)

Regarding the photo album mms thing, it will actually send the mms but I never know when. I'll send it to myself and several hours later it will show up. I never get the normal indication that it has been sent sucessfully (like I get when I use the messaging ap).

RE: MaxSense, it definitely looks like a useful UI. It's just that a lot of people held off flashing sense 2.5 because it didn't have landscape and now we're kind of back to the same place. Again, no disrepect intended. Hopefully, they'll get it solved soon. Not that it's going to stop me from playing with it. But my base rom is 9.8 for now!

That is funny because that is what I do when I travel. I got tired of trying to figure out the hotel alarms and hoping I had it set right. I don't like wake up calls because I like to hit snooze a couple times.

I decided to try that a fews day ago. Set the for 2100 hrs and didn't think about turning airplane mode on. Hit the bed at 1500 hrs and work calls at 1730 hrs with a stupid question. 2.5 hours of sleep kind of killed the idea of sleeping during the day with my phone. :disgust:

TW, I have to admit I'm really lovin the ease of use with this rom. Maxsense, the first beta! I figure once I get the hang of it, knowing how to customize my screen I'll be ok. The speed from all the memory available is awesome. No freezes or save password notices popping up. Just a nice smooth rom as only you can give us. Can't wait to flash beta 3. Thanks TW.
