i tried to download from http://www.mediafire.com/?dwvnk4lou0ycbvb link and my avg scanner said that there was a trojan generic. is there something wrong? really wanna try ur rom

I think you're safe. I d/l with no problems. I'm running Avast and it did not give me that warning.

I have used timberwolfs roms for awhile now there is no viruses in them you are getting a false positive.

what is your avg provider ?

Those six icons are your contact favorites. Go to your contacts then set your contacts favorites in the contact slider. Once you do that if you go back to sense homescreen you can finger scroll your favorite contacts.those six icons are to call mobile, call work, call home and on the right are text message, email, or see profile.


Timberwolf said that you cant use Sense 2.5 clocks on MAXSense. It distorts it.

If you do want to use it you can but you'll have to set the background on hide and set the scale to 1.4 or 1.2

As for what size wallpaper to use MaxSense uses 960X800
Well you can costomize it by single tapping the widgets and change the background to custom once you hit done it transfers you to to your albums for you to select a background. If you have maxsense widget wallpapers you can customize them.

What I did was flash Bignadads rom first and copy his transgloss wallpaper to my sd card and Use that for my widgets.

The Htc ActionScreen seems to be a real problem. I think its when I soft reset the phone the link breaks and have to assign it again. It might be a good Idea to set it as a favorite shortcut instead of a single shortcut like bignadad Just have it make more sense instead of a random group of programs maybe something like I suggested here:

Also the Album update doesn't work. It doesn't seem to work on bigs rom either. Instead his rom just restarts sense and never updates the Music. Maybe its a maxsense issue and not a rom issue. Either way its not a big deal just wanted to bring it to your attention.

As Far as graphics go, I would suggest changing the Callhistory icon on the widgets, to me I dont understand the link between a green ball with an X to Call history. The notification text icon is glass while the email,Voicemail, call history are all black.

Question:

Is it possible to cook the rom in a way that we can use Sense 2.5 slider mods to edit the TF3D icons. Im not a fan of the chrome icons and wanted to change it but it appears that the cabs that I have dont work. If its not possible to do that is there a way I can change them manually?

Do you know if can I change the default favorite contact that shows on the home page? Apparently they're in alphbetical order - (I'd rather be looking at my lovely wife rather than my not so lovely brother). and I really don't want to change her name to "AKristin" to get her to be on top (pun intended):mrgreen:

As far as MMS on boostmobile, the cooked in arcsoft doesnt work. I installed arcsoft 5.2.6.45u ftp://up.ppcgeeks.com/Touch%20Pro%20..._5_2_6_45U.cab and the BOOSTMMSFIX from here BoostMMSFix.cab and it works great. Hope this helps anyone on boostmobile.

Its not set by alphabetical order. The order is set by who you created first.

If you set your wife first then she will always be first on your contact favorites. If your just scrolling between pages on the phone then scroll to her last then you can move around you phone and she will remain there. I recommend you redo your contacts starting with your wife.

See if that fixes it.

The file names for slider tab icons are not the same as used in HTC manila. BTW: CFC manila files are named like this: "55b3bed2_manila" no name to show what they do just numbers.
How are you doing a soft reset? The assignment of the HTCActionScreen is sticking for me even after a reset. The way I reset when the phone will freeze or lockup. I disconnect the USB sync cable, pull the back cover and remove the battery. The I turn the phone on again.

Please explain what you mean by the album doesn't update. I have played several songs on the far left screen with the media player. Are you saying that it doesn't work for you.

I agree, planning to change in next release.

They are CFC manila files and not png's. I can give the tool required to edit the manila files and the chrome png images that are compressed into the manila files, then you can fine images that you like. Or you can find the images and give them to me and I will do all the work to edit the files. Replacement images need to be 64x64 or larger to work and do not all have to be the same size. I will resize to fit the file. I just didn't like the default icons that came with MaxSense, always willing to add some more color.

Sometimes its just from me shutting the phone off. Or going to xda shutdown and hit the restart tab.

When The phone starts back up the link is broken. Its not connected to the computer or anything.

Ill have to see what exactly is causing the issue. Ill Unfortunatly I wont be able to check my phone until monday I will be out camping for the weekend.



I guess I should have said Album ARTWORK update doesn't work. The icon doesn't respond. Its in the upper right hand corner not of the widget but the actual tab. To get to hit slide the home icon to the left. Go to the music tab and look at the upper right hand corner.

Every song and works, music player and media player im talking about the album artwork update. I think it may be a max sense issue though not a rom issue. I think the link to the website were it access the album artwork doesn't work.

I dont like the the default too.

Where do I find the tool. maybe pm me or email me it and directions how to use it. I rather do it myself and not depend on you that way I can learn how to use this and maybe some day cook my own rom. Like I said before I wont be able to do it until monday or so

Thanks Mod. You are right about the contacts not being alphabetical. Mine are alphabetical from using microsoft "myphone". When I restore my contacts and favorites, it does the alphabetising.

Next question: The top bar, how do I delete/change unused icons?
