Re: 7/20/10 V9.8 Sprint, Mult. Carrier, Titanium, Mult. Carrier Lite Roms

FYI for beta testers:

The HTCActionScreen is a shortcut to any program you want to run with touch of the gold star. Select the red button on the right in the home screen. Select Program Link Settings, "LSK" will set the link you want to run. Still unsure what to set as default, what do you think?

If im not mistaken the Program link settings is for quicklink programs only. If you want the calander quicklink to open youtube then thats where you go to make that happen (I personally think its useless and confussing)

If you want to change the task of the action screen it can't be done atleast to my understanding.

I tested this and set the calander to open youtube under the Program link settings and the quicklink did exactly that however the calander action on the action screen still opened Calander.

As far as to what to put in the action screen,

Text message, Picture mail, Email,
Contacts, call history, voicemail,
Opera, Wifi router, Internet sharing,
Camara, Camara Recorder, Album

Just a suggestion.

While you got this rom running maybe you could work on some flip clocks and digital clocks. ;) But Im getting ahead of myself. haha

Do you know of a place for me to get them.

Working on all of it, just finished the top taskbar. Rome wasn't builded in a day and never is a MaxSense Rom.

Looking great TW!

Im sure your going to do this UI some justice!

To everyone who tested 9.8

How was the rom. Were there any bugs?

Did the internet search work and the internet bookmark quicklink work?

I still have 9.6.1 as the latest version It had a smaller dialer but I think that was a Awesome rom to run day to day.

Dont know if I should save V 9.8 to my sdcard.

Thanks,

Yes Internet search works and no the quicklink capture quicklink still not working. I don't know if there any bugs, very few have come back yet to say how it's going. During the 4 days that I was testing I didn't find any. Any bugs would come from MaxSense.

9.8 is great. i did have some minor freeze issues, but i think it was something i installed or i had too many text and mms. I deleted some mms and reflashed and now i havent seen any problems. Great job Timberwolf. I tried bigs maxsense a while ago and it was buggy as hell. I dont know if it was his particular rom or the whole maxsense thing, but im sticking to Timb sprint roms for now, dont trust anyone else.

I will not release a beta of 23673 manila, instead I will release a beta of TW MaxSense V10. Here's the 1st teaser screenshot of V10 without any TW mods.

Dude you are too much =D>. It will be truly awesome to have all UI options available from my #1 guy Timberwolf. I have a question, for anyone to answer who cares to...since a lot of the original talk of MaxSense was regarding the major speed increase over normal sense, how does it compare to a titanium rom running spb mobileshell and it's near-instant response to softkey presses within the shell? I am currently running TW titanium w/MS for that very reason, and I did use an early Max rom a few weeks back but I really don't remember anything noteworthy about the speed. Many Thanks!!

I can't give an answer how they compare side by side, I never tried MobileShell. Once you get use to the flow of MaxSense it's nice with so many options to every user to have a different look amd layout with the same rom.

Hello... I'm still having that issue of my phone resetting on its own.. it just did it again.. I haven't been on so I'll look for a newer ROM from you..
