OK, not a big deal. Just glad it wasn't me LOL. I'll live to flash another day!

And Thanks again for all you do!

Finished the flash without the card in and it went by the "sim card detected" screen just fine. It just can't start sense. So maybe it is my storage care (in a way...).

Thanks suntopper for being so understanding. I think the problem is with the new Facebook 1.5 tab. When I left the TV & Nav tabs in my mistake the problem didn't show. When I removed I didn't test the rom on my phone first thinking all was good. I am rebuilding the rom now for a flash and testing on the all carrier version. There is no problem with the Sprint version since it has the TV&Nav tabs. Will post again in about 10 mins after the flash.

Found what was wrong! It was the new Facebook tab, I will need 2 versions of the ext folder. 1 for Multi Carrier and 1 for Sprint. There is a manila file that controls the tabs in the manila core. Facebook 1.5 ext was overwriting the Multi Carrier file and leaving the tabs without any support files. Test flashing again to see if I am correct.

EDIT: THAT WAS IT!
UPLOADING A NEW ROM AS I TYPE, HOPE I CAN GET IT TESTED FOR CRC ERRORS TONIGHT.

I was out of town for a few days. I'm still on 9.8.1 beta 1. I don't want to move off of this rom. Anyway for me to "fix" the caller ID on it?
Thanks if you can help (or not).

No, sorry about that. There are 3 support files that must be cooked in the rom. I dropped the 23128 because of so many things that needed fixing. Most chefs, noobs and others have moved away from the 23128 and back to 23127. I don't see any reason to stay with that build, too many issues to fix. 23563 xip & sys is sweet and stable version. If I do play with any new released sys I will let you know only after a week of testing before I even release as a beta version. For now 23563 is the best out there in com5 6.5.5 roms.

Question for all users?

Should I remove XDA Shutdown since CHT 1.8.5 has support for Sense restart and Device Restart in the quicklinks?

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35267; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))

Thanks TW... I'll try one of the new ones.

I have been using the "reboot" selection in the Quick Menu.

Thanks 1M for all of your outstanding work
