Yes the VZW phones have the top button and it is used for putting the phone to sleep. Also, I think a clean rom is a GREAT idea, my recommendation would be to leave your visual enhancements but strip out HTC Sense, internet stuff (I think everything would be installable via Cabs), XDAShutDown (there are other options as well) but I think Sense would be the biggest memory hog. My vote would be for a clean rom with just sys and visual enhancements. Whatever you decide I would imagine would be awesome. Love your roms!

Down to bare essentials. I think I can speak for most of us, speed, speed and stability. Truly its a great idea of leaving the glass theme, however most enhancements are cab installable. I luv your work and details on this fully packed ROMs, as well as the speed on it. So I could only anticipate the possibilities on your clean versions.

V9.7 sprint rom.

the internet tab, The google search doesn't work when I look type it in and hit the find button. It opens up the default homepage.

#2 when You open up youtube and slide open the phone the graphics get all messed up. It doesn't matter if im searching for a video or not, as soon as I open up the phone the graphics bug out.


#3 the internet bookmarks on CHT editor dont display the snapshot, as mentioned earlier however that same quicklink displayed the snapshot under the internet tab.

It should be noted that I flashed this from your v9.7 without flashing to stock. I dont use task 29 because Im not sure how to use it...

strange but i was just gonna ask you if a clean rom was possible today....LOL

also is it possible to create a thread of just the roms at a kitchen stage so that we can add only the cabs of the programs we wanna burn in?
i tried to cook one rom for my asus p527 (before i bought the tp2) and i swear it was a disaster because my system files were scre@@@ up!!!

what i am talking about is a level where the Xip / system is already cooked in. Just the user can add his own oem cabs and create the rom. something like OEMizer....i suppose that takes up less memory right?
also it gives the user complete freedom on customization..
dunno if thats possible to do but would love to see something like that !!!!

but day 3 of your rom and stable as hell!!!!!!!!!!!:headbang:

Internet Tab (Google Search) still need to work on that. Was this problem present before 9.6 (the time I switched to Manila 2016) or just started since 2016?

For the first this morning I got the corrupt graphics in youtube. Working on what the problem is>>>?

Sometimes the internet quicklinks work and sometime they don't. Wait for suntopper to return from his trip. While he was waiting in Denver for his flight he posted a message saying the quicklinks were now working for him. Need to hear what he did or found what it takes to them to work in CHT.

wow i just checked the youtube with keyboard out. nvr knew it did that before. my daughters use my phone all the time for youtube but they nvr pull out keyboard since it goes to full screen when u click video. wish i would have check it before to let u know srry.

No I flashed V9.5 a few days ago and both the search and youtube worked, Something must have happened in 2016.

Youtube is working perfect for me so far...sprint 9.7. The only single issue im having is the Search bar that takes you back to home page which is really no big deal for me. Everything else is running perfect!!! Thanx Timber!!!:headbang:

"News Flash"
V9.7.1 Lite Dinik Glass Rom
All Carrier (23563) with basic SMS/MMS support
Only Sprint TV & Nav tabs removed

All programs except the basic are gone from this version, no CHT. This is a roll your own programs rom. Only the dinik glass and support files remain. And YouTube is now working in this version without the landscape corruption when hard kb is opened. Internet Google Search still MIA! :evil4:

BTW: Can you say SPEED AND MORE SPEED.
