figured out that something in my oem folder is to blame for my kitchen trouble. now I get to go through it and try to figure out what it is.

found the offending folder, i'm pretty sure i got my kitchen back, though I can't seem to get 23569 working.

I happen to like SPB Mobile shell and have been building it in to my ROM. I've been leaving out Manilla of course, but I would also like to drop Titanium. I've tried leaving out bronze & bronzeNonEA as well as Chome, but I always end up with problems.
Are there any tricks to dropping Titanium, and is there any speed/memory benefit to doing so?

that would be interesting. i've never tried to do it that way. just taken sense out, added mobile shell and went on about it. let me know if you figure it out. i can't see those eating too much memory though.

Those are the three things I drop out of the SYS to get no Titanium. I haven't had any problems with my ROMs (knock on wood). I've been building that way for months without issue.

What kind of problems do you have?

Also, the File Explorer Extender was updated to fix the freezing issue. I'm happy because I missed this little gem.

Here's the XDA link. He has a cab and zip file to download. The zip is for chefs to put permanently into the kitchen, but I like an EXT in case I don't want to use it in a certain build .... so I made one. :)

EDIT: I took down the EXT 'cause it seems I missed something in the conversion. I"ll reup when I get it right.
