v. 1.6 is the generic right?? only issues im having is sprint hands free activation trying to do its thing anytime i get a mms,or internet related,other than that everything is perfect,installed all my usual tweaks and cabs an all is running smooth,rom is very fast,seems quite stable,idle sitting at 54%!!

really like the layout and the feel you have going,looking forward to a updated generic version with the new stuff from the newer builds,overall you did a great job and as the generic becomes available i will be here dl it! :)


(if i dl the wrong version let me know lol,based on what's in the thread i assume 1.6 is the generic)

Yeah a lot of the Sprint stuff was left in on that version. I'll cook up a better generic version tonight without all the sprint settings and let you know. Thanks for the feedback! =D>

I've installed the ROM and have been runnin' it for a day. The battery life's pretty good for me. I don't run too many programs, but my IM+ takes a lot of the energy. I do heavy texting though along with picturemail. I installed the 5mb Arcsoft MMS and it works fine. I also installed CHTEditor and that's fine too. I'll keep this a while. Thanks for the ROM.

I was surprised at the xBox LIVE startup sound! LOL

Oh, on phone calls, the picture stretches out and looks pixel-lated. With the previous ROM I had installed, it was fine.

FYI:
CHT Editor is included in the Tools folder by default. I may swap to a different dialer version in the next version.
I'm an XBOX360 addict as well as I figured I throw that in the mix as well. :)

As am I (360 addict) For some reason, I can't get my gmail username and pass to stick. It keeps promptin' me for it. Is there a hotfix or have you encountered the issue?

I am loving this ROM so far out of the 4 others I have tried. FYI on the Home Screen - left soft key Menu when clicking on "CoOkie's Home Tab Editor" states software is not installed. But then you can access the editor from the Tools folder. Work around: I just reinstalled the editor, overwrote shortcut in the Tools folder with new one and seems to work. Also in future releases if you can update Google Maps and Bing. Thanks again.

I install my email settings via some xml files in my XDA_UC folder, and I haven't had any problems. Attached is an xml sample. All you need to do is enter your information and drop it in your XDA_UC folder. Then run the XDA_UC script from the Tools folder and you should be good.

just finish flashing...must say this is beautiful to me...the visual is fresh and sharp...home tab on the slider is a slighty very slighty...no biggie

i will play with it some more and post back....but this is slick and fast....sharp...:headbang:

I'm running the first generic build with all the updated stuff right now. I just needed to remove some errant .lnk files from first looks. Let me rebuild with the files deleted and I'll post the Generic Beta. =D>

I'm still having the issue with the cookie editor not working from the homescreen menu. I thought maybe changing the package cooking order would fix it, but it didn't. I'll have to ask another chef if they figured out how to fix this or if any of you all know just shoot me a pm or reply here.

Sorry this is taking so long. I had to make some last minute tweaks cause my .nbh builder kept crashing. I think I've got it figured out though. Lets cross our fingers. lol :scratch:

sweet downloading now,at work so may be in the morning when i report back,don't know about the cht editor thingy except 90% of roms i flash with it in the tools/tweak folder i get the same issue,the 10% where it wasn't located in a folder never gave any issues

LOVE THE ROM!! WORKS GREAT!! NO ISSUES...except two minor issues,something is preventing the provisioning cab from installing (vzw cab 4) i tried several times via HR. and no gps or my location,couldn't force it either but no weather on the homescreen is nice for a change lol,also when i hit the mini menu from the taskbar it showed sprint as my data connection,saw the update profile and prl options in settings folder,don't know if that sprint stuff is causing the hangup

able to get mms working via arcsoft,everything works great and those are the only two issues at all i have run into at all,will keep you posted if any other issues occur,love the layout and the theme you have,again thanks for a generic version,6.5 roms are getting harder and harder to come by and it's great to see another 6.5 chef on the scene!!

I used the old JMZ Provisioning Tool in this build. I'll get the newer one and try to get it configured correctly. Because this whole kitchen is based off a dump from the official Sprint 6.5 update its kinda tough to get all the Sprint stuff out for the Generic Version. I'll try and get the rest of the Sprint stuff removed on a future build. Thanks for the feedback again!!!
