Re: |ROM||KITCHEN|~[LEAD ROM]~|6.5||10-2-11|[Sprint] [Multi-Carrier]

Thanks for that Lead. Certainly well organized to be easy to understand.

Out of curiosity, if I were to try and add a 6.1 SYS to the kitchen, I would have to find corresponding 6.5/6.5.x folders only and everything else is compatible across sys builds? Or is 6.1 an entirely different kettle of fish? Just trying to understand.

insomia, I don't know if I can really answer your question. I'm a mobile shell user mostly, so won't be much help with things UI related. Sorry.

Hey folks, I'm afraid I didn't actually save a project file for the LITE version of the senseless ROM. The process to make it very simple though. The categories I made are as follows:

# Common - Required for all ROMs
# Sense Experience - Only for Sense ROMs
# Non-Sense Experience - Only for Sense-less ROMs
# Third Party Apps - Everything in here is not required for any ROM to function. (Hint: for Lite ROMS.)
# 6.5 - Only stuff for 6.5 ROMs, but use Contact Card from this for 6.5.x
# 6.5.x - Only stuff for 6.5.x, Album is without online albums and upload capability, so you can use the 6.5 one instead if you wish.
# Manila 2.5 - For Sense ROM only
# Manila Tweaks - For Sense ROM only.
# Tweaks - For all ROMs.

If you import any 6.5.x SYS files, make sure to delete smartdialuiext.dll from the SYS to the Kitchen doesn't crash (HTC Phone Canvas has its' own version.)

Hope that stuff helps.

Wow, thanks master for the tip...glad that youre still visiting this thread. i managed to create a clean rom (no bronze) but still need to tweaks.

thanks again for the roms anfd kitchen...

I am still using my sprint stock rom, but consider to try lead rom. Is the sprint full version LEAD ROM has most stuff as stock rom? For example, I like that function to wake up phone and active the note when pulling out the pen. Is this function in the LEAD ROM? Also I like the video out function, is it in the LEAD ROM? Thanks.

LEAD ROM has all the stock functionality that comes with the phone, including those you mentioned. The only main things that are not built in are Sprint apps, which you can download from the second post.

Hi Mtako,

hows ur rom cooking...sorry, i over looked your reply...im a mobile user too, with spb droid by doc. and i really prefer to use a lite rom. and thanks to this LEADPOIZON's kitchen i was able to create a customized rom to my liking.

@piscator1977... LEADS ROMS are really worry free...safe to try and compare...you can get all the basic functionality of the stocks rom plus the necessary tweaks to maximize tp2 performance.

thanks again lead...

Hit THANKS if you appreciate me sharing this ROM. : D
It's a good way to motivate me.

DONATE if you appreciate.
It's the best way to motivate me.

Thanks to all the Chefs on this forum who got me started with custom ROMS.

Thanks for the 'Kitchen'. Do have a question. It's been a few years and models since I last downloaded a kitchen. My wife dropped her HTC Evo and broke the case and glass (trash now) so I bought her a new Samsung Nexus. She wants her old icons back. The one she really wants is the email icon that lets her see how many exchange emails that are un-read. The other problem is for her other pop3 accounts only allow 5 minute update or longer. She wants always on. any chance thats is this kitchen? I hope it works for this phone. The other thing is - I don't know how to download the kitchen with this phone. Can you help? thanks.
