Hey Xpress! I dont know what I'm doing wrong, your ROMs are amazing aesthetically, performance wise, and this ROM is great without a lot of the extra stuff that I may not use. I'm STILL having an issue with TEXTS though... Easter morning my phone received NO messages on the Xpressdusk rom... I do notice that the notification LED starts blinking but I see no messages. But I have been getting yelled at for not responding to text messages... (oh and I have not even touched HTC Messaging)

So last night I did the task29 and installed this ROM... All I installed was the tJELITE cab and Verizon Wireless Sync and nothing else. I leave the phone alone all night, I started getting a blinking light about 30 minutes ago and realized I didnt get some of my regular morning messages. I tried to send text, but it just sat there spinning and never sent anything... I missed more messages and never get them... I haven't seen anyone else mentioning this issue, but i've only started having it on these ROMs which is a shame because I really want to use them... I hope you can help me out! Cuz you da man! lol

Ok call me noob....whats with the VZW wireless Sync.....never used it never looked at it.......never heard any1 else mention use of it.........

I am on VZW and have ran XYC alpha & beta along with official releases and never heard of this issue you are having. Is it possible this VZW Sync you speak of coulb be culprit? Also have you tried task29 then sending sms before installing tjelite to make sure the tj cab isn't doin it? These are my two suspects in the matter anyways. Shouldn't be but its a start.

Wireless sync is a client by verizon that automatically syncs contacts, calendar, taks and notes to the verizon server. Its saved my a$$ many times with hard resets and data loss. When I did the task29 and rom install, I first installed the tJELITE cab before sending or receiving any messages, so I can rule that out.

Just and update... I've been using this rom for most of the day mainly just texting and occasional calls and I've needed to soft reset about 4 times... its locked up and delayed for a long time. What I will do is remove Wireless Sync to see if that has anything to do with the issue.

GTX is almost done. Running very smooth, but the Twitter tab is broken. Won't scroll or let me click on anything. May just realease it and include mo'tweets as an icluded program till the problem is fixed.

I had to drop this off here because this will be the GTX thread.

Let me know if you like, or any ideas to make it better.

Restarted the rom like 5 times to make sure I got the splash image font and shading about the same and make sure I had the right shadow on the GTX. I did take the font for the GTC from El Condor, I like the separated "X" I do like the XYC font where the "X" and "T" touch. I can try to get that font too if anyone wants.



Here are some different sizes, I know some don't like HUGE sigs or have multiple sigs.

don't know if this is a fluke, mistake, dumb luck or placebo... but turned off twitt, SR
installed Dark Ninja "white theme" (GTX) with white android taskbar and soft button, SR, turned off manila installed GTX CFCdisabled 2012, auto SR, notifications cab, SR, started manila and Twitt works fine for me....and no more top and bottom black bars.

so fluke, maybe...if one of the more advanced testers can try this, maybe a bandaid for before xpress cooks in the "real" version.

You are running the GTX Beta? If you are, why would you install the GTX CFCdisabled?

Do you mean your were running XLite and installed the the GTX CFCdisabled?

OK I tried it out. Believe it or not it F'ing works!. XYC I thought this was compressed? I used the WVGA CFC Disabled GTX them, loaded it on top of the GTX on the beta and I can slide twitter like butta. Hmmm, XYC are you sure you compressed this rom? Maybe you should add in the CFCdisabled GTX in the next and see if that is the problem.

talking with Straightup, we were both thinking maybe a different clock would look slick, like maybe (I was thinking) a reversed flip clock (white on black) would look good....I, however, have absolutly no computer skills (I do know that the black cable fits in the round hole = more bati life)
I am looking forward to see what ya'll come up with on the final version....btw, did you try dark ninja's white taskbar???? mine looks just like GTX's screenshots

Just saw you dropped it xpress...congrats. looked at your upcoming changes (maybe tjeliets dialer on MR????? just an option) Looks really good, going to have to flash this....it's midnight and the wife thinks I'm getting a drink....may be difficult. How about a new clock???? Maybe a reversed flip clock?? ie white on black??

Not raining on your bitchen work Xpress, but this is Dark ninja's taskbar and white theme (you obviously don't need the theme) with notifications...

can someone please make a flipclock????

EDIT: and again, nit picking, put maybe fonts in black instead of grey---or at least dark grey??? but light grey on white, while it looks slick....also looks washed out (and remember xpress...this is coming from someone with absolutely NO skill.....really....you are a phone god for being able to present this to us....but I'm old and quite frankly, I'm bitchy, so, ummmm, yea)

It says clock and there are three, Zune, Reflection, and Stylish, which are the clock fonts, there is another post for Bordered clock and green sms bubbles and a taller boarder for the clock in the 2nd post

The Android white taskbar theme is fine, but I like gfandrea's stuff. I like the Dark theme as it shows off the taskbar. I have used DK's stuff for about a month now and has never let me down. If you are going with an android taskbar go with DK, as his color patch should work with it, the patch does not work without the TB. I tried on the beta without the TB to see if I could get the Start to change color and it did not. The dialer is going to have to wait for tomorrow. I am in trouble with the missus as it is...:angry7:


@XYC, does this include the Ultimate GTX wall? It better!:protest: :twisted:

Mernin dudes.....playin catch up, in here today.

Cant get 7zip907 mobile to extract the .nbh. Weird thing is I used it to extract three or four others.......Tells me not enough space for .nbh on my half full 8g SD...........Tried 2 sd and 2 tp2.....same results......weird chit.
