Okie I figured out what the problem was.. I needed a new A-key.

I was getting the "Unable to authenticate your phone"

Black and White 6.5.X flashed just fine here. Got >600K on the download as well, so no problems with your server. So far, I am still doing configuration after hard resetting it 1X - my standard practice after a flash. I normally do NOT do a flash to stock first, as I have never noticed a benefit form the few times I did it that way.

Hey big, on on the sprint dusk ROM, when I try to access the start menu, it brings up ArkSwitch LOL..

(I switched it to WM6.5.x compatibility I think) .. I'll use the long press of 'send' key for task manager..

Just thought I'd share. Looks GREAT though.. Thanks a TON ... (this should get me through till maxsense is released :) )

sounds like your hitting to left instead of bottom left for start if your om 5x.

When I try to change the wallpaper using the MaxTTM it gives me a net framework 3.5 error and closes out on me.....any ideas

Hmmmm - just had a hard lockup while configuring MS MyPhone. Restarting now to try it again. I got my email accounts configured and they are receiving email fine, so I know data is working correctly. Will try this again.

UPDATE: After reboot, I was able to sign in fine. It is now downloading the MyPhone update, so all seems okay. The CAB is installing fine. Okay, rebooting now. BTW, I like the startup sequence very much. Quite different from any other ROM I have used, and I have tried a bunch.

crazy thing is I have hard reset, multiple times and that is the very first thing i tried to do without installing anything, thats whats odd?...I am following your directions exactly, but when I try to apply it through maxttm the program closes....I'll deal with it not that big a deal.

this is normal behavior for arkswitch on a 6.5 rom. you can change the activation field to make the soft start button work like normal. Just open arkswitch and click on menu, then Activation Field, and then adjust to your liking. Or you can leave it and just use the hardware start button that we have. It's the one with the windows logo, for those of you that didn't know. :)

My apologies for wasting your time, I found my issue...apparently the image I was using wasn't formatted properly but its the same image I always use so I didn't realize it. Tried a different wallpaper and evrything worked as described....thanks.

What is the font used on your ROM Big? I mean the font in general, it might be my eyes but it certainly looks a bit different from the standard font on any other ROM I've tried (and I dig it!).

Ran 6.5x Sprint B&W all night and am very happy with the performance. It is smooth and reliable. Not sure about the battery life yet but I'm sure it will follow suit with the rest of the ROM. Very nice build Big. This will definitely hold me over until the Maxsense release

First I really like the ROM. My only problem so far is that when I use the hardware keyboard, I cannot see what I type. When I leave the entry field it then becomes visible. I did the flash to stock, loaded the ROM, hard reset but still have this issue.

I am using the B&W.

First and foremost, I am loving what you have done so far, and eagerly awaiting whatever comes next. Please understand that this is not complaining, rather simply for your information. After running Sprint B/W 6.5.* since yesterday I have noticed a couple things, maybe just me again though, but here they are just in case....
1. . I have no locking app installed (other than WM which I dont use) but quite often after I power the phone up from standby mode, the phone only uses half the screen....top of the screen has everythin

g from the home page crammed in and bottom half is all black. I am using full screen mode.... (sorry if this is a known issue with maxManila as I am new to using this)
2. Somehow my clock and weather just disappeared from the home page...It just happened this afternoon and not sure why or what I possibly could have done to cause it. I Havent installed anything since yesterday. I was browsing the internet when the phone locked up...being the impatient person that I am...lol....I soft reset the phone and when it booted nothing on the home screen except program tabs.

I am going to go ahead and hard reset and reflash to start from scratch. Like I said maybe just me...

First off, excellent ROM (6.5.X B&W). I have been running it all day. Speed is very good, especially for a 6.5.X ROM. The only thing I am noticing is that RAMSweeper locks up when it finishes. I can soft reset the phone and it comes back up fine. I do not see any settings for RAMSweeper like there are for CLEANRam ti exclude Manila.exe or to tell it the phone is running sense 2.5. Anybody else see this, and if so, is there a way around it?

I'm a fan of CFAY or DECKs but I gave this ROM a shot. I don't like the clock design in this ROM and can't see an option for the stock look. How would I do this?

Also, how do I get the default Task Manager to start-up with the phone instead of Arkswitch?

Other than those two items, this ROM is pretty swift.

I had the same thing happen to me. I believe my phone was in my leather 'case' and the magnet unlocked it.. I felt it vibrating as if receiving a text message.. when I looked at it, it was in a settings screen.. (can't remember which one) and when I closed it (i was driving 75 down the highway, so didn't pay attention LOL).. I lost my home screen except the slider and taskbar. I changed the home screen tabs to re-launch sense, nothing.. I did a soft reset, nothing.. hard reset fixed it..

I am also running the same rom.. b/w sprint

EDIT: OH.. forgot a small request.. would it be possible to include the facebook app with the next ROM releases ?? I LOVE the facebook 'tab' on the slider, but I missed my app.. (I have a .cab file so no biggie.. ) AND slacker radio ?? :D Thanks Bignadad for all your work.. so far, this ROM is the sickest as far as speed and resource hogging (lack of hahaha)

Any ideas ?/

Okay, I restarted from scratch. Started adding cabs...no problems. Changed file structure, and no problems. After about 30 mins I got another lock-up. Since I didn't get an instant effect, I'll have to start over and give more time between changes to figure it out. Grrr... ](*,)

I have an e-mail problem. I check my mail using the home screen icon but when it opens there is an X in the middle of the controls that doesn't delete the message but brings up a forwarding feature. Is there anyway to change the X to delete?

not a issue,just happens every so often,try selecting a diff. wallpaper and convert,after soft reset selet the wallpaper you intend to use and convert,after soft reset it should be good to go

i've tried this after soft reset, after selecting different wallpapers... everytime i go to the WM6.5 tab everything is grayed out, even the "convert" button. wtf?

hmm.......never seen it stick like it is with you,not on any of the beta's nor the rom posted,will it not let you check the convert button?? (checkmark) if not you have 2 options to try,a hard reset or dl the app and install,it will say the installed version needs to be uninstalled blah blah blah,just hit ok and after installed try again,kinda weird though been using the app since it was first released and on BIG'S roms and many others never to see or hear anybody having that issue :scratch:
