This is exactly the same as the stock rom. I flashed back just to double check. You can still scroll through the menu but it is offset to the right side. There are also a top and bottom bar with up and down arrows and I confirmed they work fine on both stock and sprint lovers rom.

Certainly did try a soft reset. The soft reset made it work again before, but I have not had any luck since.

I guess I'll just flash it again since I don't know what went wrong with it.

chris, just noticed that when you try and enter a web address in the web browser, it will not recognize the keyboard correctly. pressing the left button causes the webpage to go "back" and I cannot enter any letters. can you check if this is the case for you as well?

I checked on this and did not see your issue. Pressing the "left" button makes the cursor go left but doesn't delete anything (as it should.) Pressing the backspace button deletes the last letter (as it should) I also verified the same in lanscape mode with the on screen keyboard as well as the physical keyboard.

Guys, I have stated a few times in this thread..before posting a potential issue, troubleshoot the problem as much as you can and if a hard reset does not solve your issue then please let me know. Most of these issues are probably related to whatever files/applications you have installed on your phones. Hope this helps

I am not sure as I have never used SPB (I mainly use either Sprite, My Phone, or Activesync). The rom version is the same, however the rom dates are not as they are updated with each new release. I dont see why you would have any problem restoring, but if you restore you old system settings you really wouldnt benefit from an update. I usually just backup e-mail, messages, contacts, etc... and reinstall my apps after reflash.

On a side note...I called Sprint Advanced Techincal Support tonight and after a 45 minute convo, the rep was able to recreate the error with the Sprint Nascar application (he just happened to have the Touch Pro 2 himself). I advised him that sending the "NASCAR" text to 7777 to try and redownload does nothing as we cannot download the application from the software store (just keeps saying "Your Cart Is Empty") and he also tried it and got the same result. He advised me he will escalate the issue. Just an update for you all, and I recommend you ALL call Sprint about Nascar not working as the more people who report it, the faster they get the wheels turning for a fix!

Anyone try iGO8 on this ROM?


I assume this ROM works on virgin locked TP2's right?

I use Nuebattery for the fast charge and just use its 1% battery function and they both work. Though I also use a different taskbar to get the 1% icons as the default battery does not display numbers.

I use the - Orologio Trasparente Antonio_Sense2.5 clock.CAB transparent cab.

I use AM Slider trasparente con cornice Sense 2.5.cab and numSkull's panel remove and top and bottom curtain remove.

The one issue with this transparent slider is that you get the double image on the sprint navigation, sprintTV and facebook tabs.

I also use igo8.

solid rom man!!!! one request will you cook one with the 2g dialer and in that same one use a program called SCANFS to search your kitchen for .qtc files and delete all of them so i can use some custom icons that i have for the fav programs in the home tab.
