JD's ROM

Because my ROM makes "Sense" ...

About this ROM:

My ROM is designed for the advanced users, who like me enjoys the "Sense 2.5" UI but does not like all of the added crap that come shipped in most carrier ROMs, this ROM is a little more customized than ROMs I posted in the past but not to customized that it cannot be personalized by anyone who uses it. Some of the removed apps can be found attached to this post, and this ROM is "SD Card Auto Installable" if you are familiar with the SDAutorun feature in other ROMs and have a SDConfig set up you should be good to go, if not instructions and a example of an SDConfig.txt can be found below.

Attention:

This ROM is compatible to operate on two seperate networks providing that you have an unlocked radio and your phone is security unlocked:

To switch networks go to your phone settings then select the networks tab use the applet to switch to "GSM only", if your gsm carrier is a popular carrier such as T-Mobile or AT&T for example, Connection Setup will atomatically setup your internet connections for you, if not then go to the connection setup in settings\connections and select your carrier. To switch back to SPCS change your network setting to "CDMA only" then soft reset and your internet connection will return to SPCS.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR PHONE HardSPL'D TO USE THIS ROM, to do this read here:

Using RunCC SD Autoinstall:
To use the SD Autoinstall feature of RunCC you will need to create a file named SDConfig.txt in the root of you SD card then edit this file to point to the directory on your SD card that you want RunCC to install from

Example:

XML: \Storage Card\TP2\Initial\RegEdits.xml
Note: All of your .cabs and .xml's need to be marked as read only or RunCC will delete them.

hey jd will this build branch be discountinued since ms is gearing towards the other build branch with the finger friendly gui?

It is a free format and not proprietary unlike Rar. I have never compress anything in rar for years.

You can go here to download the ARM version of 7-Zip program: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sevenzip/files/

Infact, I prefer that rom cookers have this included in their rom, instead of PocketRAR, by the least it support more formats.

hey jd that rss hub cab u included does it have scrolling in the articles or should i rip it out of my current rom before i flash to stock and wait for the rom to drop?

No its not msft has to obigations to fill with the com2 builds before they change the ui for good

Since ur the first to take it for a spin, what apps and noticiable tweaks are included in it? How about MMS? Need to know so I can setup my UC specifically for this ROM

as jd states in op, mms works from both ends or atleast op states it works, homescreen is funny as hell and a new take on others roms.(animations) its got lots of speed and opera 9.7 is very fast. trust me, you guys will like it. i just dl'd it again couse i was testing another 6.5x but liked jd's much better. nice mix of what you need for a everyday rom. hope that helps but some of the tweaks im not spilling, you gota see them.

darren can u install that rsshub cab from the first & tell me if it still scrolls in the articles pretty plz???

I know he said before that he uses Tmobile on is TP2, so he leaves the HTC messaging client in the ROM being that sending and receiving works, but I'd be cool with just sending through Arcsoft and receiving through HTC messaging. Thanks Darren, thanks given.

thats wrong information no HTC Messaging Client is in the ROM it uses Arcsoft and I can use Arcsoft to MMS with t-mobile

maybe im confused and i apologize bet im sending pics from manila tab. hope im making sense. im not going to all messages then text or sending from photo album.

Ok, I am dying to find a fast, stable, stripped down ROM and this sounds like it fits the bill. I have tried 11 different ROMs now and haven't liked any. I would love to try this. How long till it's up?
