Just got to say the ROM is running very solid, Co0kie slowed her down a lot at first but it settled in I guess & is super fast again. GPS is fast & streaming media of all sorts is still the best in the biz... & have had no problems with any manila mods with the newest 2.5_2013 (thread title still shows 2012) I would also like to confirm the choice of running the radio recomended by MR.X (CS_2.30WV). Battery life is great!

Flashed this ROM yesterday. WOW !!! I feel like I have a new phone. Not only awesome, but it also fixes issues I had before. Great job MR.X !!!

I have a few questions :

1) Where do you download these animated backgrounds ? I saw that video on youtube, where the clouds are moving around. How do I do that ?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3ptA...eature=related

2) Is there a way to make the number of emails or text messages glow in a different color, so that it's more obvious there are incoming messages ? (on the bottom bar)

3) How do you move new programs icon into the existing folders ("Internet", "Multimedia" ?

4) I have a contact that has 2 numbers. How do you put both of them separately in the favorites ? Every time I put the cell phone, it removes the home number.

Welcome to the Mr X community!

I can quickly answer a couple of your questions here.

1) Actually, I thought the clouds on the home screen were default, once you got your my location on the weather tab to showing weather there.

2) This can be done by installing a totally different set of slider icons of your choice, some color, some dusk - whatever you like. As for making the existing slider show color, that is above my level of expertise.

3) In my opinion the easiest way to do this is to install the cab I have attached below and this little program will give you the ability to easily do what you want to do. It has two columns. A source column and a target column. Simply put a check mark beside what you want to move, and a check beside where you want it to go. Then go down to the Options menu below and select either Move, or Copy, depending on what you want to do with it. You also have the options to create a new folder, rename a shortcut, or even create a new shortcut.

4) To do what you are wanting to do here, you also have a couple of options. You can put the most used number in there as the primary, and click on the Pic if you want to call that number, or click on the name below to pull up the list of all the numbers assigned to that contact.
Also if you prefer, you can assign the View Contact Card to that spot, which will pull up the entire list of numbers by tapping on the pic.

so i changed my icons succefully for the.most part with restart but my icons in manila didnt change, anyone have an idea why? what is the easyest way to make my background on all tabs mr x' wallpapper?
BTW theis my first post ever with my phone!

i noticed with you roms that my power button to wake the phone from sleep does not function properly. i have to hit it like 5+ times to get the phone to wake up. this seems to only happen on these roms. got any ideas? as i love your rom seems to last the longest for my uses

regarding manila 2013... i believe mrx cooked in a few files of it(2013)... so it isnt the full manila 2013 package... in software version it reads manila 2013 lite... that might be the reason for thread title remaining manila 2012...

regarding power button issue, thats a known issue and its hardware related.. so rest assure it isnt the rom...

As Gary said, for 1: it should be default. Run quick gps in the gps folder, go to the weather tab update status, etc and it should be good, unless you shut off weather animations.

3: you can use restart like Gary said or use total commander and go into/windows/startmenu/programs and move the .lnk files to whatever folder you want them in.

4) had the same problem until Gary mentioned awhile ago just using the contact card then every number comes up for the person.
