Yes, and it worked fine. I was also able to acquire sattelites in Google Maps. It is not making sense.

Reflashing the same ROM will not do anything. Make sure you run quick GPS and set the AGPS service to on. Those two things should clear it up.

after downloading quick GPS, Slide over to the weather tab, tap menu, there should be a list coming up I belive it says something starting with "enable" click on that if you see it. That's how I got mines to work

#777 cab worked fine. Wish I had this months ago! Couldve saved me a good 10 minutes of my life and lots of headache. Any idea if this works on the TP1?

On the other extreme are roms that are fustratingly bare of even the basic of apps.
Those roms are a let down cause you wont know just how good it performs under pressure, till you fill it up with apps.
I used to cook roms back in the 6700 days and still hold the belief that you can load a rom without slowdown IF you choose your apps wisely :)

Roms without apps are not taking advantage of the benefits of being preocooked..
I look for at least some common type apps precooked in.
Come on now, who still uses the native "file explorer" instead of resco or total commander?

Thank you very much...I must have missed that when I looked under menu. Once I enabled it everything is working fine. I was just about to go to a different ROM. Thanks again!
