Edit: The only thing I can not get to work is the battery icon. I tried the 7 bar one but it did nothing. the one that came with the rom has not worked for me. It shows no bars inside the battery icon.

Like I said, i cropped it from a larger wallpaper I had. If you have a pic I could do it for you or you could try the HDWalls.

This image worked well because the colors were all set and seemed to match perfectly for the rom/theme.

but, I did a quick search and found a picture and converted it gray scale and messed with the contrast a little. Have at it

Mike

Also, apparantly mike just got HTC taskmanager working flawlessly with his. Hopefully he will share.

cant wait to see what he does with 6.5.x

It's not my WP at all, Mike aka viper8u2 made it and has offered to make others if u can get a picture. as far as getting it in landscape and portrait I would recommend checking out santods thread in the themes forum as IIRC hes got some landscape/portrait cabs/fixes over there. Im mobile right now so I cant check easily but if u cant find anything Ill take a look around later or tomorrow morn.

Edit: Take a look here at one of Santod's many threads, most of the stuff works well with the newer builds of 2.5. Show him some love if you use the stuff. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=111673

Can't wait to see if we find a solution to this one! It's the one and only irritation I have had with either of these Sense 2.5 ROMs!

There is something that isn't jiving with windows messaging and manila 2.5 for sure.

I went into the windows e-mail settings so I could modify my download schedules and syncing. then when I went back out to manila afterwards I couldn't open any e-mails in messaging from the manila tab. i would double click it and nothing would happen. just had to soft reset.

I seem to have pinpointed it to when I send a text message. When I exit out of it, it goes from the quasi-Htc Messaging to the winmo view of all my texts. The top part of the HTC messaging clips on the top and shows through and the phone is unresponsive for 30 seconds or sometimes until I reset it. Makes it almost impossible to use. Do all you guys that flash restore your texts as well?

Also if I click a contact and use the HTC contact thing to view messages it lags

If you are backing up texts from any program.....DO NOT....clear em all and see how it runs...also dont let em build up too much...

Maybe you should reread what I said. This is necessary ONLY when everything else fails. Issues can arise when you flash often and don't completely clear out the flash memory every now and then. No offense, but know what you are talking about before interjecting please. Also, the fact that you don't do a clear storage after flashing is only setting yourself up for trouble down the road. Just because it works fine skipping that step once, means nothing when it comes to future flashes. Do yourself a favor and start getting in the habit of better flashing procedures before things go wrong.

EDIT: Thanks flyers...you beat me to it.

Not to discredit or question your knowledge and contributions to the community, but this sounds like an old wives' tale to me. I've read this suggestion numerous times on this forum, but is there any real evidence to support this?

Why is data "left over" from earlier flashes on the OS partition of the ROM chip anyway? A hard reset/flash should reformat the OS partition, clearing the TFAT allocation table therefore making the filesystem represent all clusters as available for overwrite, not readable with valid data.

Old used clusters that haven't been overwritten yet by the fresh flash (but now marked as FREE [or BAD] in FAT) should never interfere with the current state of the ROM. Thoughts?

UC works fine on the 2/18 6.5, why would he not include it for 6.5.x?

This ROM rocks! I've tried and ran most of them out there and for me, hands down this is fastest most stable. Can't wait for the 6.5.5 version!

I don't feel like digging through old posts to quote you some more detailed information on this. All I can tell you is that a few chefs have talked about this happening. And although it does not make sense to me either, this method has been known to help in some situations. Therefore when all else fails, doing the flash dance is worth a try. It may fix it, it may not. Personally, I do the stock rom flash dance every now and then whether I am having issues or not. It's just good a good practice to get into when you flash as much as some of us do. In the end, what is it really going to hurt for the OP of these issues to spend 20 minutes or less on this?

I used a cab on stock sprint 6.1 that would enlarge or decrease the size of the text in a text message. I installed it on MR. X and it did not seem to work. Is there a difference in text program that prevents it from working and if so is there an alternative for larger text? The cab i tried was named Mun-sms Zoom.
I am older than dirt and I need larger text.
