I do like this keyboard but it also makes it much harder to input recipients....instead of just typing a letter, you have to type 2 letters and backspace before it will show any recipients.....kind of a PIA when adding 10 or more recipients....I use it but switch back and forth...Juggs check your pm in about 5 minutes...

Mine would not freeze to the point of a battery pull, but I would get some delay every so often....glad it is fixed...

I said this before but to each's own....the 5.0.9.4 Arcsoft is the most reliable one that is out there...no issues whatsoever...the one Darren posted already has 5mb...

how do you get the same wallpaper to show up in all backgrounds including lock screen and start menu. Sorry if this was posted a before, but I have been searching for the dusk theme slider high & dry for a few days now *primarily*.](*,).... Im slightly all searched out...lol...:angry7:

Opera is causing all my issues with this rom. Even when IE is set as default, Opera still takes over and it messes up programs like Weather Watcher and a few others.

Too bad because this is the best 2.5 out here.

I have a cab for a 9.5 opera that, on other roms, seems to take control over the rom based one. want to try it? Actually can't find it, but i think it's paperclipped over in mighty's thread

I am gonna Dl and try it out as is.......if a cab comes I'll use it...or if a new build comes.....I'll use it.

Looks nice and Mr.X does top notch work so this has to be great. So glad the wife has the TP2 now....too many great ROMs for just my one device......

use the attached cab for all pages.... and than for the lock screen and the start menu go to start/settings/today/ and than under where your tsk themes are listed to choose from look underneath there and check the box that says use this picture as background and select your picture.

Didnt work the fonts are still huge in the programs having conflicts. Don't understad it, do not have this issue with War or with the regular Mighty Rom. Oh well.

Finally I have found the solution to this problem.

The problem is in PIE 6 (Beta) which is available in some of the newer ROMs.

Just change following registry entries and you will get your display back.

\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Viewport Height
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Viewport Width

By default they are 1024 and 768. Change those to size of your screen and problem solved.

Did that too. I did my homework before I posted.

If you set IE to default and then soft reset, Opera has taken over again. I know this because I open IE and it tells me its not the default browser.

thanks for the help.. was able to use the ArcSoft MMS 5.2.12.45 and it work great.
Now my next question. any plans on adding the xda_uc to the next rom?

It was never checked in the settings to be the default, that is why I am clueless.

I tried everything from your PM and no go. I have never seen this. I always knew to set IE as default to eliminate the issue with weather watcher and a few other programs I use. You can test this by setting IE as default and soft resetting. It will ask you when you open it the next time to make it default. This is a problem with the rom I am guessing as I have never had this issue and been using the same setup for every rom I use.

Really a shame because other than this issue the rom for me works perfectly.

Manila is setting Opera as the default browser. Please give me the web address of sited you find do not work in opera and i will test.

Thats the point, I need IE as default for a few programs to work correctly. Its not a website address issue.

then i rebooted. once rebooted i opened a link from an email and it opens in IE. So tell me what apps your using so i can test further.

Weather watcher, here is the cab.

In every rom I have used, I always have to set IE as default so the font in this program looks normal and not huge. On some of the tabs the text is so big it doesnt even fit on the screen. When its working right, you will notice a difference.

You will have to add a city, etc to get weather results.

IE seems to be my default browser from the internet tab as well now. So im sure manila is setting Opera as your default until you set it off in opera its self.
