I was able to install the cert manually. I've never had a problem with Sashimi on this before.
Also, this ROM just feels sluggish compared to prior releases. Not sure if this is due to the RZ base or what. We definitely have more memory, but it just feels slower.

Hope you don't take this as 'whining'. I appreciate your efforts, and just trying to provide some feedback.

I think somewhere in my process, the Sashimi script got borked. It wasn't completing the script, and left the SashimiAR.lnk in the \windows\startup folder. I also don't think it was shutting down properly.
I Deleted that link and reset, and the system is much more responsive now.

There are still some changes in the RZ vs Calkulin setup that I'm not sure I like yet (In particular, I had grown used to psShutXP on the top button, and Mute/Vibrate on the LongPressPower button.
While I like this phone canvas better than the Glossblack, I'm not a big purple fan :)

You can easily change LongPressEnd by changing the option under -> Start -> Settings -> Personal -> Buttons -> Tab over to long press end and change the option.

I had left out psShutXP by accident and will be included in the release. The dialer is Blue, everything Raid did was Blue as I like it too.... I am Either Black or Blue kinda guy... The reason I picked his Dialer over the Black one is because it is lighter the PhoneCanvas .DLL is only 1.7MB!

I've taken more of a look at that canvas after I posted my message, and you are right, it is Blue. I guess the shading on the keypad make me think purple. At any rate, I like it a lot better than the old canvas.

Re: {ROM}{23554/6.5.5}{4/5}Formula's SPB MobileSense {New Base Beta Available}

I'm now positive something went terribly wrong in my install process as phone was just horribly unresponsive. I took my storage card out and did a hard reset. Ignored the phone for a few minutes and when I came back only Provisioning needed to be done.
After reboot I started setting up my screens etc. Much better setup this time around.
For some weird reason, I could not get Internet access and had to run carrier provisioning again, but that seemed to fix it.
With my particular screen setup (3 Lifestyle only, comprised mostly of shortcuts to a few programs and contacts - I don't do Twitter/Facebook/Media on my phone) I have right at 90MB free. With 23549 I was in the 40s. System seems responsive so far. Will report again after a couple of full work days.

Thanks formula.

Ok great to hear you are doing better now, I know about the internet thing its weird cause if you don't select a carrier internet works, ounce I select sprint and reboot I can not get online, here is what i have done to correct this manually till next release. Open comm manager, try to turn on data connection, it will bring you to connections, choose manage existing connections, then you want to edit the only one there think called data. just hit next - next till you get to username and password leave everything blank next again you done.

The next time you attempt to start a data connection it will ask you for username and password, don't fill anything out just check remember password, and next. thats it...lol

Well, once I 'Reselected' carrier provisioning it seems to work OK. Prov. will warn you that it wants to remove the original install (but it can't), but then installs OK ... reboot again and everything seems OK.

In a related note it looks IE is set to Default Browser. the \Shell\RAI\: Defaultbrowser setting is Opera, but the HKCU\html tree is set to IE.
I haven't tried a link from e-mail yet, but using the search widget will launch IE.

Formula,

I really appreciate your work. Besides the things already mentioned I found one issue with the new beta 23554. The photo album will not stay open using the shortcut in the lifestyles section. The application opens briefly but closes. I am able to open the photo album going through the program list with no problem. This ROM is great and there is definitely an improvement in the memory. Please keep them coming.

Mine has continued to go down hill and be very unresponsive again. Ram usage looks normal, when I go into fdcTaskmanager and look at CPU usage, it doesn't look bad, but the system is just very slow.
It appears to be related to ActiveSync. AS is supposed to be doing a constant 'as they arrive' connection, but it mostly sits there until I tell it to sync. then it usually locks up until I reboot. Also have had Swype/Opera lock on me several times.
I'm going to flash the stock verizon setup for a day or two while I study my issues.
