Starting a new thread tomorrow or the next. Want to reserve the 1-3 post and get rid of the negative comments on the thread. I want to let this thread die, so when that's done please use that thread. For the next week I will be working on the rom and new thread design. So my post will be few, but I will check new posting's for problems related to this rom.

When I open the keyboard the background/wallpaper is white. Easily fixed by setting the landscape wallpaper.

OOP ! deleted the wrong pic. Trying to made this kitchen mine since Calk seen like he might not return. Never fear Ren-Tin-Tin to the rescue. :evil4: But as you said easy fix.

Hey Jstine, just wondering... Why are you letting the thread die? Using the new version of v5, no problems, loving it. I have noticed an increase in speed. I think you have refined this ROM very well. At the beginning it was a little overkill on the theme but You have found a great balance between the eye candy and functionality. I will continue to follow you in the new thread

I removed my VZW provisioning file link. It's just not ready for primetime. I'm torn between removing all the things that are not really necessary (like ring tone assignment) or using calk's full provisioning. I compared the v3 with v4 calk provisioning to try to find out how the end key was for VZW but just can't figure it out. Might be a file vice a regedit? I think you are looking in the wrong place. The end key reassigned is done under \All settings Menu\Personal\Buttons\Long Press End Key.

Is this what you are trying to do with with the provisioning cab.

Actually, I was looking to how the end key is defined differently with VZW and Sprint. In the verizon.cab from your v3.2 the red phone (end) key is "properly" programmed as the VZW shut off key. You can tell it's right because shutxp will come up when you do a long press. On your v4.0, the top key starts shutxp on a long press. This is reflective of Sprint's mapping. When I tried linear's gearhead rom (also based on Calk's kitchen and using the same verizon.cab as your v4.0), I figured out that the red phone key changed the sound mode to vibrate with a long press. Another long press put it back in speaker mode. The length of the vibration on your v4.0 is similar but it doesn't always change the sound mode(???).

To make a long story not as long, I was looking at provisioning files this AM. I found one on the MightyROM thread and tried it out. When I didn't load the tjELITE file MMS didn't work (no surprise). When I ran it after your standard provisioning, everything works (so far). I have phone, mms, ssm, correct keyboard, and the favorites key (and other things I may never use). I may try to combine the two files and offer it up for you to include but I just don't understand why someone hasn't come up with a file that does everything yet. BTW, the MightROM thread recommends IMNUTS mms file fix.

For now, I'm going to maintain this setup and see if I have any issues.

Edit: I checked out the location you gave, it has "Always display the Quick List" but I think it gets overwritten somewhere (registry?) by shutxp.

Jstine, I really like all the work you put in your ROM. It is very very nice. Do you have any versions without maxmanilla? Your artwork and everything else is top notch.

Not at time, plan for a version w/o max up coming. No release time yet, but will adding 4 new Themes (Black Knight, Purple Haze, Red Dawn, Golden Eagle) maybe one or all w/o max I guess.
