Vin, thanks for correcting.


So I guess the problem with tethering over USB is on my end since others are able to do that. I will try re-flashing the ROM.

just poppin by to say again how much I like the ROM, I'm running it all stock... dont want to dirty up the startmenu, sure wished I had the template for the Icon so I could fix a few of my apps up so I can install them :) flashed Pluto & thought it was great too, but realized it didn't have a game I got use to playing on the 6.5 ROM. Thanks Vin!

or, use another rom with a "rom update utility" delete (or move to another folder) the signed_RUU.nbh file, replace with Vin's .nbh and run the rom update utility....in other words pull a .nbh from a rom and replace it with Vin's

ok flashed this ROM (latest NEO) last night and its great so farbut there are a couple of concerns

1) what's the version of MS Facebook included with this? seems like its an older version because my updates aren't refreshing.

2) the zoom bar doesn't seem to work in IE like it does in the stock rom or lead ROM. how to fix?

Hello all,

I have recently sent our a request for fastest and most stable clean ROM to the PPC TP2 community, and VIN was kind enough to offer an invite to his entree of ROMs.

I have a question for his user base...

I use my phone for buisness so no gaming, but most everything else. I am a heavy txt/email user, as well as GPS for driving directions, and calendar (Pocket Informant v9). Plus I am on Sprint.

1. Do I use VIN's clean ROM dated 12/8?
2. Do I use his current NEO (some reference to VERIZON, so not sure there are some unnecessary apps for Verizon users)?

I use Neo 1/3 with the 2.35 radio (yes, the newest is 2.37) with the sprintfixed provisioning cab and have by far the best experience. GPS is solid, full signal (in seattle) the best bati life, rock solid and smooth. also have cht2.0 and OC to 729 and have had zero problems with anything.

it has a verizon radio, but since sprint is CDMA as well, there is no issue being on sprint with a verizon radio---just better reception...run your provisioning cab (the sprintfixed is the one I'd recommend) and you're golden

Great post but wish you had not posted that because now I am checking back to Neo again and will try CHT 2 with it.

I would avoid CHT its too bloated and the latest neo comes with a program tab so there's no need for it anyway.
