what lag in texting mode? you mean when texting? did you run text cab for device?

i dont notice any lag when creating or reading text messags...so not sure what you mean...

sometimes when i select a message from to reply the screen freezes and then looks like an overlap of the 2 screens. It clears up after a few seconds. I used to get it realy bad with the OEM roms when i had to many long text conversations ( i would delete them and it would clear up) but this rom handles it much better.

whats the text cab you mentioned?
Also, I'm not able to use the larger clock.cab from my collection, they were from 6.1 roms but it did work when i used oem rom and mighty. I install it but the clock stays the same.

Okay, I see now. I've seen the overlapping screen in prior ROMs, but not this one yet. I don't do a ton of texting though.

I was referring to FlyersTweakedSprintArcsoft.cab (threaded or non-threaded). It's in this thread's paperclip if you need it.

Don't have a fix for your clock issue, other than suggesting you search out more clock cabs & try them. I've been using SPB with the Android mod, and there are several nice clocks available off the install.

There is going to be winmo devices and by dl the updates and reporting, you have become a tester yourself and yes you are contributing this way. Perseverance it is one of the most wonderful attributes that you have.:)

Actually I used that before I started using the Droid theme... probably wouldn't use it with Droid since it has its own manager. Just thought I'd put it out there in case anyone wanted to try it?

Okay, thanks for the info. I'm hesitant cab'ing it over SPB/Droid+...don't want to screw up something so good! LOL! :evil4:

It's bitchen Vin base with an easier UI than sense. so all the good Vin loven with better finger use than Sense or CHT

Well decided to ditch the palm pre and come back to the tp2, and vins roms. Got a question though. Isn't there something to flash before you flash roms to start from a clean slate. I can't remember which rom was on my tp2 before and want to start fresh, but can't remember what to flash to get it a clean start. Any help would be great. Can't wait to get back to vin's roms.

The recommended way to flash one of these ROMs would be to use Task29 to wipe your device clean then flash the RHODIMG file from your SD card.

Task29 is attached and should be simple enough to use if you're at all familiar with flashing your device. To learn how to flash your device using an SD card refer to this thread.

Couldn't find how to lock device on screen off or/and Wake Up.
I know i've used this one [APP]LockDevice [2009-08-26]. Ultralight app to lock after wakeup - xda-developers
by Daniel Herrero.
Need to configure:
Just go to Start/System Tools/LockDevice.

Also if you don't want to click on power button(like me) to lock/turn off screen, you can install this cab "Screen Off"
Then just add Icon to your home screen.
