Thanks!

go to start menu -> settings -> system tab -> keyboard config

click menu -> add key
it should prompt you to press the key you want to map so you click the period button on the hardware keyboard,
then under actions click the +
Action type - emulate key press
in the key dropdown choose a period.
Then click ok and update.

Not sure when Adrian is coming out with another ROM but the new one is supposed to fix that so you may not want to fully setup your phone this time around and wait for the new release. No clue though, just a thought.

I meant to stop by and say something here the other day but somehow it slipped my mind. I had the opportunity to try this ROM out a few days ago. I gotta say, while I do not care for 6.1 as a personal preference, this ROM is FAST. If you are more about having the latest and greatest manila build than you are about the OS build, this ROM is a great choice.

To me this ROM has been lightning fast compared to any 6.5 ROM. Like to the point where it's ridiculous. Since Manilla mostly covers up the OS, I haven't been back to 6.5 for a while. Does anyone disagree that's used this ROM?

i actually really like this rom, it ran super fast and looked great. only problem i had was that i couldn't get a few keys to work on the keyboard for us cellular's version. i think the only one i really remembered are the period button and one other. i installed the USCC keyboard fix, but it didnt do anything :(

anyone got any suggestions?

the "." issuse is caused by the dusk onscreen keyboard i cooked in!! this will not be in my next update release!!

Couldn't get this to work, but after i tweaked it I was able to get the period to work. The comma is still hit and miss as sometimes you have to use it twice. Hven't been able to get the emulator to fix the comma yet, but still working.

here is what i did, been working no problems for couple days, Verizon TP2

click menu -> add key
it should prompt you to press the key you want to map so you click the period button on the hardware keyboard,
***No new rules***
Key mode: Select direct key mapping
Key: 110 (period)

Click OK
Update Config.

Not perfect, but better,
Ben
