Well, crap. It wont work for me. :-(
After flashing, it reboots to the orange screen with the windows logo and just sits there.
If I soft reset it does the same thing - stuck on the orange screen.

I re-downloaded the ROM, thinking maybe my download was corrupt, but it didnt help.
I even tried flashing to stock and then back to R10N, but same thing.

Version users should try r10 version, see what results you get from that one. Im on Sprint and rolling with that one first.

Im on R10 with sprint i had the same thing happen. i flashed back to stock rom and then back to R9 reset let it boot all the way up then flashed back to r10 now it works fine for me i have no clue what caused it but i have no problems that ARENT expected now

Trust me, I tried the regular R10.
I was one of the 1st reporting that it doesnt work with Verizon.

4 verizon i think you should try the r10n version. i know its obvious...but did you wait long enough, thats on the orange window splash...the reason i ask is it might sit there 4 awhile while its booting and running customs. and if you did a soft reset b4 it completed then it would just do the same thing. try wait a lil while to see...

are you flashing active sync or sd card? i noticed (on s3 early builds) when i flashed sd i had a similar prob. so try the opposite of what your using now. if your doing it via pc, do you take out your sd card b4 you flash? maybe try that. i dunno just tryin to throw out sum ideas

edit: i re read your post, so customs did finish then it rebooted and thats where it hung? or did customs even finish?

what do you mean exactly, wont turn off? its steady green or flashing green? it stays on even after you check your txts?

sum times in the settings they are greyed out and the only way to change them is threw the reg. i cant remember where exactly but its sumwhere in the forums

Customs did finish (this is R10N, too. I was just stating to the other member that I had tried the regular R10 when it first came out). After Customs finishes, the phone auto-reboots then hangs on the orange windows start screen. I gave it about 40 minutes while I was eating dinner. I figured that was more than long enough as I have never had it take more than a couple minutes.
I have always flashed from the PC. My card is in, but it has never had any ROMs on it.

I just got off the phone after 40 minutes of trying to get my phone back on the Verizon network, becaus,e of course, flashing to the VZW 6.5 update de-provisions the phone and it takes a call to Big Red to get it back on the network. Grrr!

Anyway, I thought I would test the stock -> R9 -> R10N path.
If that doesnt work I will try from the SD card.


Edit: It appears NavyMarvin's method of stock -> R9 -> R10N has worked.
I am hard resetting now to make sure all is good.

Just flashed R10N. Seem's to b running just fine with no issues. Installed most of my apps and tweaks. No issues so far. But still cant seem to get mms working even after instaling vzw cab and entering manual mms settings.

from reading bout it the last couple days/week, you wont get mms on verizon anymore. they changed sumthing to where the newest workaround method doesnt work. you will have to search for a work around, maybe 1 you used prior to the "fix". i suggest reading the last couple pages of every rom thread and look for this same issue and see what it is they did
